Gavin D. J. Harper, is a sustainable technology consultant, based in the UK, working with a wide variety of organisations, companies and NGO’s to deliver information and awareness about cutting-edge alternative technologies which can be used to bring the world forward into a sustainable future. He is able to advise on a range of clean energy systems, sustainable construction technologies, and the engineering business case behind them. Gavin is pro-active about engaging young people in science, engineering and technology, and his published work reflects a desire to make these subjects accessible and interesting to a wide audience—taking cutting edge technologies “from the lab” and translating them to a form that can be replicated at home or school. Gavin’s current research focuses on Alternative Vehicles and Fuels, looking at the structure of the Fuel Cell Industry through the lens of Michael Porter’s ‘Clustering’ theory. He is available to consult on Hydrogen and Fuel Cell technologies throught the Pure Energy Centre.
