Foreword
Andaraya
For any organization to realize its aims and goals, it needs to be equipped with the right personnel with suitable training and skills. For any organization to progress it will have to depend on its totally commited, highly motivated and loyal work force. We in Andaraya are fully aware of the above essensial element as a factor for growth and success, and thia has always been our motto from the early days of our existence; supplying the right workers for the right job at the right time. Due to the rapid growth and industralization process which has been promoted by our government, resulted in the demand for a large workforce available in the various sectors, such as manufacturing and services. Almost at the same time as the Malaysian employer started looking abroad for his labour requirement, Andaraya established itself for the acquisition and supply of these foreign workers. Today we are a well-established company in helping our clients with their labour needs.

Founded in 1989, at Andaraya we have all the related infrastructure, which are conducive to a proper recruitment and mobilization or the workers. We specialise in the RECRUITMENT, CONSULTANCY and WORKER MANAGEMENT, in possession of a valid operating license issued by the Government of Malaysia, bearing KHEDN OUT-Sourcing license number Khedn 100/637/1-4(7) Since its inception, Andaraya has to its credit, the distinction of mobilising and supplying of more than 30,000 workers for more than 500 companies directly and indirectly through its close associates, locally and internationally.

Andaraya has its headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with five service points located in Senai, Pontian (Johor), Melaka, Senawang (N. Sembilan), Taiping (Perak), Kuantan (Pahang) and Pulau Pinang. The service points are manned by our highly experienced staff to provide backup services required by our clients, such as workers going on strike, discontented and medically unfit workers.

The uncanny ability to solve problems quickly has been due to deligence acquired over the years, liasing with Local Government Agencies and our foreign associate companies has stood us in good stead. Our recruitment drives zero in on the provision of suitable workers for the manufacturing, construction, plantation, engineering, information technology, hotel and other service sectors. Andaraya is also actively involved in the supplying of Malaysian workers to overseas markets. Our network includes such countries as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Laos, Thailand and Cambodia. Specific staff handle each of these areas. We believe on friendly and long term relationship. We strictly work as per our standard time schedule (STS) and quality service to make sure our clients will receive their workers on the time. Globalization has led to this irreversible process of interdependence in many fields not least in manpower. Therefore our vision for the foreseeable future is to excel in the provision of this highly demanding insatiable need for a totally effecient workforce with no respect for state and national boundries. ISMAIL BIN NORBAT A graduate in B.Sc(Hons) from University of Malaya. He has a wide range experience in management and administration. He presently holds directionship of a few other companies . As a commited businessman, he is highly respected in business community. YASIR ZEB He graduated in Accounts & Finance in 1998 and later completed his Masters in Business Administration in year 2001. Yasir has been associated with ANDARAYA since 2003. Due to his analytical and managerial skills he plays an important role in financial issues of the Company. ZANARIAH BT DULAH Zanariah who graduated from Universiti PUTRA Malaysia in year 2000 has 15 years experience with KDN and Immigration Department. She specialises in procedural matters concerning foreign workers to Malaysia, especially those involving the obtaining of necessary approvals and visa from the relevant authorities. NOR KHAIRUL AZMAN BIN AB. RAHMAN A graduate of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in year 2004, Khairul has 5 years experience Human Resource and Foreign Workers Management. His dynamic personality has seen him obtaining a high level of expertise in this field in a short period of time. MOHAMAD YUSOFF BIN NORBAT He graduated from UNIVERSITI SAINS MALAYSIA in 1990 and has 20 years of vast experience in Administration, Planning and Costing. He was associated with PETRONAS for 25 years. Since joining ANDARAYA in 2008, Yusoff has been an integral member of the management team, providing an edge in planning and costing. CHEAH KAH SOO He has a long history with the company starting since 1990. His vast experience and interpersonal skills is widely respected in the industry. The last two decades has seen Cheah securing numerous projects, many of them have been the key contributions to the success story of ANDARAYA. RABIAAH BT. SAAD She joined Andaraya in 1992 after completing her diploma in computer science from UiTM. She had undertaken a number of certificate courses in Human Resource Management. Over a period of 18 years, she has transformed herself into a highly rated professional in the Manpower industry. 4

The selection of workers for the electronic industry is based on several criteria like the IQ level of the candidate and the ability to respond to instructions in English. We also conduct simple mathematics and color blind tests. Another criterion for employment of workers in the electronic industry is their physical size. Prospective candidates are given a briefing with the help of an audio-visual presentation explaining to them the nature of work, condition of worksite and all other related factors. Such briefing will help them understand better the requirements and challenges working in a plantation sector. Those who are interested will them be subjected to a physical test. In selecting plantation workers, several factors are taken into consideration during an interview. Construction workers & Welders

Recruitment for

Workers in the construction sector are chosen based on the practical expertise which that has been identified through a practical selection process held at training sites provided in the country of the workers origin. For categories which need a third party accredited certification like Welder (3G, 4G, 6G, Tig, Mig) for welding and fabrication or mechanical works, certification will be provided by the proper authorized parties. We can also supply skilled/semiskilled workers for the construction industry such as carpenters, benders, bricklayers, masons, scaffold foreman, site supervisors and others related to this industry. We also have suitable candidates for the oil and gas industry and railroad building.

We also ensure that all our workers are covered by the necessary insurance policy like Workmen Compensation (WMC), P.A and in cases of death, a compensation of RM25,000 will be paid out and funeral rites fees amounting to RM4800.

Contract & Legal Department

The department is set up in order to keep ANDARAYA updated with the latest immigration and Ministry rules and regulations thus fulfilling all the requirements of the Foreign Workers Policy. The department is headed by one of the companys most experienced staff, Mr. Mokhtas who has excellent understanding in legal aspects of foreign workers. This department is also responsible to prepare a comprehensive foreign workers outsourcing agreement to be duly signed by both parties. Mr. Mokhtas is also responsible in making sure that all of our foreign workers been treated equally and fairly as per our company standard of service. The issue of safety and health regulation and international labour law are also handled by him. The outsourcing agreement mentioned is in full compliance of the Malaysian law. We constantly liaise with the Kementerian Dalam Negeri/Home Ministy of Malaysia (KDN), Immigration Department, Labour Department and other local government offices. Such good relationship with various local authorities will further ensure that we fully comply and are in accordance with the Malaysian governments rules and regulation.

This unit will closely monitor each workers work permit expiring date and execute a renewal process within 4 months prior the expiry date.
