Whether your internship is in Research & Development, Procurement, Sales & Marketing or Information Technology, you will be given first-hand experience of how a multinational company operates. From the start, you will be involved in important processes and asked to take responsibility for the tasks you complete as part of your role in delivering challenging projects. You will draw on the knowledge you have acquired from your studies and extend it with practical experience. Regular contact with your mentor will ensure you achieve the personal goals you set yourself for the period of your internship. Facilitating your success. During and after your studies. The requirement for sponsorship is an impressive record of academic achievement in a degree course relevant to Daimlers operations. You should be aiming to complete your course with academic distinction in app. 1.5 years. One method of qualifying for the program is on the recommendation of a department at Daimler. In this case, you will have already proven your commitment, your ability to work as a team player and your outstanding achievements during a previous internship or on vocational training with us. During the 15 to 18 months program we will prepare you ideally for your future tasks and challenges. But first you will define the schedule of your individual trainee program with your personal contact person. According to this schedule you will pass a minimum of three coordinated project assignments of which the first will be in your entry function. This first project will be followed by more assignments that will allow you to work in several functions and at different locations worldwide. In a training schedule focusing on specialist as well as on methodical skills you will deepen your knowledge gained during the project assignments.
