2.0 METHODOLOGY The bore holes will be advanced by Shell and Auger equipment (engine driven) with full length flush jointed casings. Undisturbed tube samples will be collected by open drive method from cohesive or partly cohesive deposits @ 3.0M interval. Standard Penetration Tests will be conducted @ 2.0M in all types of soils. Disturbed samples will be collected @ 1.0M interval or at every change of strata. When rate of progress by boring become less than 300 mm per hour and SPT N value become more that 100 in two consecutive tests, it will be deemed to conclude that rock layer has struck and further progress will be made by rotary core drilling using by TC /Diamond bit. Based on the laboratory test results, field tests records and analysis of the data, a detailed Geotechnical investigation report will be prepared and presented giving bearing capacity, recommended foundation depth, settlement potentiality, pile capacity etc. as required.

We propose our payment terms as follows for this job. 6.0 PAYMENT TERMS A) Progressively R/A bills will be 80% of the bill/executed value shall be paid to us raised. within 10 (Ten) days of bill submission. B) After submission of final Report 20% Balance payment shall be paid to us within 20 (Twenty) days of bill submission. The payment shall be made to us through On Line OR Demand Draft. 7.0 VALIDITY Our offer is valid for a period of two months only.

8.0 SALES & SERVICE TAXES No Sales Tax on works contact shall be deducted from our bill as Sales Tax is not applicable from our job. SERVICE TAX :: Service Tax and Education Cess shall be charged extra over and above our each bill as available on the date of billing. The present rate of Service Tax is 12.36%. Our Service Tax Regd. No. AABCC0609BST001. Service Tax shall be paid to us along with our each bill. 9.0 GENERAL TERMS A) You shall hand over the site free from all encumbrances. B) We shall be allowed to work from 08-00 hrs. to 18-00 hrs. on all days including Sundays & Holidays. C) We shall be allowed to erect tents at site inside your premises for the purpose of temporary accommodation of our workmen. D) You shall depute one representative at site from your end and for the entire duration of field work for checking and certification of our work. E) You shall provide us with the facility of water at site both for the purpose of boring and drinking. F) All samples as collected at site will be brought to our own laboratory at Kolkata for the purpose of testing. G) For idling of our equipment and personnel arising out of no fault of us, we shall be compensated @ Rs. 6,000/- per day against each set of equipment. H) Our rate quoted for boring/drilling work on land only. I) All the payments shall be made as per the actual executed quantity.
