Data will be handled in following flow for Electronic Carte System; Input of Main Engine Operation Data into the Standard Format and Transfer of Data to e-GICS Server through communication satellite INMARSAT. The diagnosis result will be automatically sent to Customers along with the various performance curves, trend graphs, etc., with technical comments and recommendations from MES technical staff. If an abnormal sign is found in the diagnosis process, a caution message will also be transmitted automatically to MES Service Center and MES technical staff will investigate possible causes and take immediate action for troubleshooting. The Electronic Carte System has another function to monitor the present condition of major engine parts and components and predicts the remaining life by storing engine overhaul or inspection data. You can access and browse to technical information and the list of repair Kit and Parts Codebook easily and accurately from one place to improve your preventive maintenance. In Q&A system you can exchange opinions with MES technical staff and easily access all data stored in database. The Electronic Order System allows for much easier and faster spare parts search and ordering with links to the parts Codebook and Repair kit.
