ACCFA Summer Leadership Training is now open for registration!

ACCFA Mission Statement The ACCFA is a non-profit organization that provides help, support and friendship to individuals and groups through protecting the environment, engaging in the community, and helping the current generation.

$45/6 sessions, total: 12 hours. ACCFA Vision Statement We envision creating an encouraging and comprehensive community of people, who in which will be able to receive support, be able to speak out as a group about issues, and find friendship here in Calgary.

Youth Leadership Training
Summer 2013
Hello there! Are you looking for opportunities to enhance your leadership skills? Do you feel the need to connect with more awesome peers? Do you aspire to perfect your speech and presentation skills? If your answer is yes to any of these questions, then this is the right program for you! Fun activities, useful lectures, and hands-on projects are included in the training to help youth leaders aged 12-24 understand the importance of leadership, language empowerment, self-awareness and team cooperation. Of course, the leadership training will also effectively prepare the participants for future community initiatives and employment possibilities.

As society advances into the twenty first century, effective leadership is almost a necessary asset for every position in society. Be it Student’s Union, an internship position, or professional schools. The ACCFA recognizes this fact and tailors its Summer Youth Leadership Training Camp specifically to help youth become strong leaders of the future, benefiting both themselves and also the community.

This program is run by the president of ACCFA- Maggie Chen Maggie is a proactive member in the community, and she has won the 2003 Grassroots Leadership Award With extensive leadership teaching experience, Maggie focuses on building strong youth leaders
