2013 Theme
The Church, if it has discerned what God is doing, would readily agree that it is no longer business as usual; God is doing a new thing. Therefore, theres no room or tolerance for being content with the status quo. God is anxiously waiting for His people to embrace Next Level Ministry by embracing the total truth of His Word through pure obedience.

Spoken Word Notes

Speaking of freedom and independence, Woodward Avenue in Detroit swelled with thousands of people Saturday, June 22, 2013, the 50th anniversary of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.'s Freedom March, during which he first gave his historic "I Have a Dream" speech. The massive crowd was led by civil rights leaders who today carry on the legacy of King. Rev. Al Sharpton, Rev. Jesse Jackson, and Martin Luther King III all participated. Lansing Church of God in Christs Sister Lavinia Reynolds also participated in this event. She distributed information about the Lansing Church of God in Christ and our upcoming events.
