You are invited to register for an international interfaith conference 20-23 August 2013 in Horsham - Hosted by the International Association for Religious Freedom (IARF), the World Congress of Faiths (WCF), and Horsham Interfaith Forum. For details see www.worldfaiths.org and look under events. Register by Pay Pal or credit card. (Free event Thursday 12-5 PM at Worth Abbey). Tuesday, 20 August, “Check in” begins 1 PM at Horsham Unitarian Church. After a 3:30 PM Shinto blessing at the Horsham Peace Garden, IARF/WCF Horsham will open at 4:30 PM in St. Mary’s Parish Hall on the Causeway. The Rev. Dr. Marcus Braybrooke will speak on THE WIDENING VISION OF INTERFAITH.,. Tuesday evening will be ISRAEL night featuring IARF Vice President Dr. Shlomo Alon, and Dr. Yehuda Stolov who coordinates 50 Interfaith Dialogue groups in Israel.. Each morning opens with 7:30 Meditation at Friends Meeting. Wednesday, after breakfast,. Sheikh M. Amin-Evans will announce plans for the IARF Congress in Birmingham, August 2014., Then a Women’s Panel on “Violence, Non-Violence, and Religious Freedom,” Mrs Annelies Trenning, Dr. Doris Hunter, Charanjit Singh, Dorothee Gehrmann. At 11:15, Prize winning author, Dr Dan McKanan, Harvard, will speak on “Ethics and Magic,” Lunch will honour guests from Japan, IALRW President, Dr. Kathy Matsui and Guji Yamamoto, Chief Priest of Tsubaki Grand Shrine. The afternoon at the United Reformed Church will feature Professor Harold French, author of ZEN AND THE ART OF EVERYTHING,. Derek McAuley, and Professor Kathy Matsui, followed by Circle Groups. Wednesday INDIA night at the United Reformed Church will feature an Indian Dinner, a panel on Religious Freedom with Advocate Rengapashyam and Fr Roby Kannanchira from India, and Rev. Ken MacLean on the Holdeen India Fund. After meditation and breakfast, Thursday morning a panel on “Planet and People” is followed by a bus trip to Worth Abbey.

The  public  is  invited  to  join  the  Conference  at  Worth  Abbey  12  noon  –  5  PM,  22   Aug  2013.    At  noon the Rt. Rev Kieran Conry, Bishop of Arundel and Brighton will
speak. Lunch provided by Crawley Interfaith (donation), Walk to the beautiful quiet garden and return to a panel from South East England Faith Forum SEEFF.
