After perhaps a dozen hours online reading and trying to sort this out, I am convinced that someone on THIS forum may be able to help me. Long-story short: I have a 1TB iomega Home Media Network drive (Christmas gift from brother) which is loaded.... upgraded my netgear rounter to "n" and it never showed-up normal again. renamed the drive...each folder has a question-mark over the icon and icon is different, cant open any of them. Spent hours on phone with iomega tech; bi-passed router (cat5 right into the PC)(vista)... did ipconfig, net view, ping and it is there but can not use or write to the drive (shows as an ip address and also on the network). Took iomega appart, removed a seagate baracudea 1tb and ran it to USB port, and can "see it". Bought online a program called reclaime... with russian IT gal saying that the recovered data should be showing up in "EXT" folder, not in "RAW". What shows in RAW looks like music and movies etc., but is just numbers not names and looks incomplete or too small to be real. EXT has many folders but no usable files (yet). I am at 88% now on that front. Have NOT written to the drive. ** reclaime IT gal says that it appears that my partition table is gone (?) missing. I know the thing is full, still hot-wired (out of case) to the USB here.... and it just FEELS like there is a simple fix, an easy re-establish of whatever this partition table is that "unlocks" and shows the contents of this thing. Have plenty of screen shots that I can provide, but I need to get this sorted out... and not blow $1k on pro data recovery . HELP
