ETS3 Installation

Select complete installation. ETS3 Licensing:

As of now the ETS dongle (which is already in use) is licensed. But if a new dongle needs to be licensed, select the highlighted option in the diagram above and request for a license key. After 1st time ETS installation, it will come up in demo mode. Once it’s licensed, the ETS will be fully functional. Working with ETS3 Plug in the ETS dongle on the system. Double click on the ETS3 professional icon. You will see 3 windows: Topology; Group addresses; Buildings/Functions.

Click on Find. Select the appropriate NBM and it will be listed in the topology window. Give the required physical address to the NBM. double click on the device to get the following window: . In the topology window. Select the manufacturer as Cisco and product name as NBM. To give or change a physical address on the device. click on New project. order number etc based on vd3 file. A product finder window will pop up. add new devices. It will populate the NBM serial number.To create a new project using ETS. In the main menu. we would need the vd3 file which contains the serial and order number of the Cisco NBM device.
