TOR on How to go about Commercializing First Aid Training Introduction The ERCS has been providing first aid

training as a service ever since its formation. Due to a life long practice by the Society first aid training has gone to the extent of being considered as one of its flagships. Though, the Society has long been working to ensure self reliance, generating revenue from first aid training at a national level did not happen, with the exception of two branches. Tegrai and Addis Ababa branches are pioneers in running commercial first aid training in ERCS. Recently, some branches were equipped with first aid kit production facility. They include Afar, Benishangul, West Gojjam, East Harage, Wolaita, Sidama, East Shoa, Bale, West Shoa, S.Wollo, West Wollega. However, introduction of commercial first aid training at a national level on basis of a study still remains. As a result, the National Society is considering implementing the training at a national level in a well thought manner. Therefore, this TOR is designed to give a direction to the study of commercializing the training.
