Memories of those magical moments, Are always Overwhelming, Embracing in each other's arms, Singing, crying, laughing, Holding each other close and warm. Love has all moods and moments, Blooming joyful time like a spring season, Filled with beauty, happiness and flowers, Unfortunately sometimes, Have clouds and showers. After Love encounter we may walk, Many roads toward other goals, But we forever have those moments inside heart, No matter even if we forever grow apart !!

Moonlight Loneliness does not fade in the moonlight. By that primal candle fades only our unstable character stooping over loneliness wanting to portray it as a mystical moment chosen and embraced voluntarily.

But the smell of iodine in the air warns. The depth of breaths give us away and we and this rich night in the distance turn into cosmic pain instead of the wax seal which seals the important messages.

Pain thickens in the moonlight Hands look for each other as they are not twins but strangers from another planet. Not the smell of sea water Nor the substantial iodine can help it there. In the night of moonlight everything opens and releases abstained traces unfinished kisses and easily broken dreams. Not even the tide or ebb can do anything. In the night of moonlight only love helps. Duska Vrhovac

Lovingly I hate you Lovingly I hate you dear Fear of missing you my life You will leave me, I fear Wish to be your loving wife I want to be always yours And want you to be mine For then world will be ours And our life will shine Unite us together lord Do you hear my word? Will you leave me die? Or say him not to lie Will not he be wise as everyone say? Will I get reward for the good I did till day Shalini Samuel

MY TITANIC

Almost like a Polaroid camera of life, I caught your caressing, dreamy gaze and I knew spontaneously and instantly that we two lonely misunderstood souls had clicked As our eyes met with fiery intensity, telepathy emanated out of my mind saying the words one loves to hear, I love you ,which resounded overwhelmingly in your gentle, tender and soft heart, As I looked at your gentle countenance, I felt as if electricity was shooting fiercely through me, As a wonderful vision of both of us holding hands as we walked across a VIBGYOR rainbow with the suns golden rays binding us together, flashed across my inward dreamy eyes,
Page | 12

making me exult on what true love signifies No words not even the most eloquent or vocabulary-studded can aptly describe my pining love and very pure feelings for you Our love glitters and glares and glistens, like a radiant iridescent diamond with fire, irradiating warmth and genuineness, which others find mushy and incomprehensible, but for us, these are the trustworthy and true feelings that make our world go round, that make our lows or valleys easier to bear, and which make our highs or mountains ecstatic It gives our lives didactic and genuine meaning and when darkness threatens to ensnare us, this true love shines like a brilliant sparkler, spreading smiles and joy and laughter, and everything in this world seems bearable. Virginie ( Ver-john-nee ) We traveled to Paris from Long Island City, Queens, on the E train; her voice was rich with croissants and pain de chocolates, she told me Paris was New York City Without steroids. She spun my soul around like a windmill; I wanted to put her in my Movie. She would be good for walking along the seine river, with her legs long and sleek, flowing like gauze. Even the train smelled Better because of the fragrance on her neck, that lingered like a song. Erren Geraud Kelly

The Journey Two young hearts enjoy the smell of perfume and sweat mingling on sheets. The thrill of first contact Their first true love flirtation and flowers, wine and dine, dance to celebrate. The endlessness of life, stretched before them green and full, fresh blooms and cerulean skies so deep that they seem to be enameled. They live in the shadows, run barefoot between the trees, wet grass licks their toes, until moonlight feasts upon bare shoulders as a creek bubbles in ecstasy. In dreams they see colors and lay naked beneath the sky unafraid. Their hearts old, revel in the smell of perfume and sweat, still lingering on the sheets. The thrill of each coupling fills their minds, love tried and true, theirs. Tea and pastries, cuddle and comfort,
Page | 19

until the sun rises. Their mortality stretches out before them, ripe and full, with only one blossom picked, saved, for a rainy day. Two hearts, beat beat beat, then the earth turns allowing the sun to abandon it's post. Lying on the couch, one remains, ready for sleep, a cat curled under her chin. Remnants of a treat settle, as have her memories, and an open window allows natures breath in. The only sound, her heartbeat, echos, treading on tip toes so as not to disturb her dreams. An Indian blanket cuddles her with strong, ancient arms, while spirits dance around a campfire. World and womb are one, as if she had never been an outsider. Drifting with the current of time she hears divine music, and softly sifts through the events, of her life, until only the Gold remains. Tina Broderick

Captivated Come away, O my sweet sweet love, Cross air streamed oceans and fly to me, Let frothy waves guide you to my shore, Bury past worries beneath golden sand. In dreams you are mine, enchanted, Listen now as clouds call to each other Speaking passion's language...your name, Where no translation is necessary Between lovers and unspoken wishes. I am the poet, you my poetry, You my quill, I your tome, Our delight stretches across sand and sea, Desires countless, while kisses confess, What beauty in this day, with you in my arms, So close sunbeams cool, beholding two, Within love's sweet embrace, we are engulfed, Destined to dream of love In the shade of each others arms.Md. Shahbaz Khan
Page | 21

Beyond The Grave My kisses do not show the infinite love I need to bring you My soul, colorful and a whirlwind, do you feel me in the air? The tears that fall on the Earth crumble my chances of reaching you. Your aura of black and blue vibrates continuously through outer space The morose bitterness you grasp cracks your heart of glass Shattering the wickedness that consumes your inner being. My whispers of peace floats in the air waiting to enter your mind Regrets flooding throughout you; you grow weary of being lonely. You rock back and forth, holding onto my body, withering away Nails of the behemoth scratch and chew at your essence Causing sparks of fury to fly- no one hears your pitiful sorrows.
Page | 22

Beyond the grave I sing you a meaningful lullaby repeatedly. My dearest, I will not let you join me here until you believe in the creed. Your life will deteriorate as slow as I was muffled in your demonic hands. Taunting you in your slumber; no; I will sprinkle my amity upon your fantasies. You could not relish in the joy I brought to you when I was visibly beside you So lay awake yearning to meet me on the horizon when your time comes. Ariana Leon

WILDERNESS OF BROKEN DREAMS Once an overflowing oasis Now a desert barren Is, this withering heart of, mine Where love once lived abundantly None is, found, no more The acid in my tears have replaced The whispers of her breath The flow of our intertwining stream Her quivers that made me quake My mortal compass is broken Im left in betoken A wilderness of broken dreams Where the signs are everywhere To bath in the burning sands of hell That I was not able to foretell Because my eyes were blinded by her spell E.B. WILKES

A Poet in your Age What secret do you hide where others touch, what part of me do you grant at all hours, how much am I the flower in your flesh? What could I give or take without your gift, how much of you is given when I touch, or hands that touched before how much? Away from me what hands can touch, who enters now with arms or hands, what space in you is still untouched? Cry up tensions teased from flesh, guard for me nothing that can't be kept, give to me nothing but what I show, summon meaning with your effort, tell me nothing I have heard but know.

You Cannot Always Hear Words When do you see words holding tight Each other in embrace to love? They silently come next to one To be the reason for a thought!

Thus man may wait for smiled to come When lovely and woman come near Then stories can go gushing on With words, more words, going with the flow!

Right words in line create the scene That thought can see and picture well Its time to share what no one knows: Its words that give a life to love!

Is there no love in silence then? Does silence never lives to love? Words are silent and when they meet Some more of silence they create A silence that is vocal too A silence that two lovers can Hear well and know theres love in life!

The Flowers Of Your Love From the barren lands of my heart, Sere for years, in utter thirst, Do spring the flowers of your love. Those flowers of Daisy- Innocent, Resembling you: loyal and pure, Which perfume my soul and mind. And there does flourish life: The flowers of Acorn- Immortal, The immortality of our love, In the midst of the Anemone, whose scent lingers in my breaths: The scent of unfading love. And then the Hibiscus makes it way, It blooms tall and strong, Decorating the perfect bride,
Page | 29

The bride of dreams, so delicate, With her Maidenhair fern tress: Strengthening the secret bonds of love. This barren land of my heart, Yields forth all of these and more, For it is just a miracle of yours, Which intoxicates my mind and soul, Makes my heart and mind fragrant. This fragrance of your loveImmortal, Unfading, Pure & Loyal, Brings a smile to my lips, Unknowingly, unconsciously, you're there. The smile of my life: it's you, It's just you, dearest beloved, On my lips when they smile, In my heart, when barren lands flourish.

You Make My Lips Shiver Your eyes like the cups full of wine, Tempt my lips to shiver, Whenever, I see these cups full, Of that Elixir- the elixir of love. And your face, so bright as moon, Deprives my eyes of their vision, For they can't endure those rays, Of beauty, emanating from it. And your brows, as arched as bows, And your lashes, as sharp as arrows, Have left my heart bleeding, With all those scars: unfilled, And ever increasing wounds: deep, Regaining their youth with every look: Every time you look at me, Every time you look into me.
Page | 31

And your touch, as of Philosopher's Stone, Turns me into precious gold: immobile, Every time I try to speak and, You seal my lips with your hand. And your lips, as red as blood, Blow life into the dead body, Surrounding my living soul, The life that is endowed by you. Whenever you kiss me, into me, On my lips, for a moment, That's all that keeps me living, And my soul for eternity...! ! ! Waseem A Malla

How Could Someone Be So Cute!

How could someone be so cute, I asked so her trying not to sound rude. How could I be knowing about this, She answered back looking even more cute. But oh somebody must make her understand, That it was she whom I complimented. But it won't matter if not many did told her this, Satisfied I am that I could first start it. Keeps dear this one's for you, No matter how far we stay, Wait for the time anew, It'll show us a way. @Little one: This one's for you :-)(-: Atul Kaushal

I See You In My Today & Tomorrow

This is to answer your doubts about my past She Was With Me, In The Movies, In The Social Service Club, In The Hospital Taking My Care, And Where Not. Do I Miss Her Anymore? No. Do I Still Miss Her? I Don't Know. Did I Consider Her Important? Yes. Why Do I Still Consider Her Important? How I Would know.. Do You Think That I Don't Have Anyone Else To Think About? Yes, Apart From My Studies & You. Do You Think How I'm Being Unable To Forget Her Might Affect My Future? Yes, I Remember Her Only As The Source Of Inspiration She Is... Now your doubts must all have been addressed properly Atul Kaushal

For the Dream Angel There is this slightest aching in my heart, As something is missing in life. This poem is for that overlooked - unknown - unheard fairy. Baby just come to me now, Now this shortfall can only be relieved by you. The air breezes past me but still I don't feel like breathing it anymore, Lest I lose you somewhere I am certainly worried about this, but why? But why could not you just look at me, I have seen the world but my mind only liked you. So now you must come as I just keep my hopes alive, When you come in my dreams, I wait when you come to take me to that world.

So now you come, Take me, take me away. Atul Kaushal

My angel My angel in red, green and blue, you have beauty all in you. Smile on your face, is all it takes to make me happy. May you shine brighter than brightest star, you are star all in you. You outshine the beauty of flowers, you are flower all in you. Somewhere in our conversation, I fell in love with you. Your beautiful pink lips, make me think of you. I can search you anywhere, even where Google can't get you. I asked god for heaven, he send me you. Please stop looking so pretty, I may die without getting you. You are life, heart and soul, I live to be with you. Vivek Singh

She Loves Me Yes Winters cold, Summer hot, She loves me yes, She loves me not. When she holds my hand; The world stands still. I am her man, She is my daffodil, I long to hold her in my arms Keep her safer from the worlds harms. She loves me yes, She loves me no; It does not matter, I love her so. Mark Kodama

Dan Giovanni, the Poets Prologue The Summers Day Youre my blue sky, youre my sunny day. Lord, you know it makes me high When you turn your love my way. Allman Brothers Blue Sky The graves a fine and private place, But none, I think, do there embrace. Andrew Marvell To His Coy Mistress The Bus Driver Young man and little soubrette, Sing us your songs of romance in sonnet, Take a chance on us and open your hearts. Show us your poetry; show us your art. Oh, lovely Erato, muse from above, Infuse their sonnets with beauty,
Page | 39

Infuse their sonnets with love. The Poet Can I compare my love to a summers day? My darling Jennifer is much, much more. She will be my wife once I have my way. For her charm, wit and goodness I adore. Smell the scented perfume of her black hair, That floats across the room, filling the air, And for her large brown eyes that dance and shine. I will walk through fire to make her mine. I am like grains of sand upon the beach, You are like the infinite blue ocean, With each waves reach, Oh my darling mistress of the sea Jenn Take another part of me into the sea Oh my sweet Jennifer take all of me.

Page | 40

Dan Giovanni, The Poets Tale Forever and a Day If patience is the purchase price to sway, Your heart and your love will not be hurried, Ill gladly wait forever and a day, For the night that my love is requited, I will lay siege to your battlement walls, And assail your ramparts with my passion, By gentle wooing bring down its fall, And thus prove my sincerest devotion. If then you will not let me in your heart, I will patiently camp outside your fort, Come wind, rain and snow, I will never part, Each morn I will sound love calls on my mort, On bended knee I will offer my life. So someday you will be my wedded wife.

Page | 41

Jennifer Faull, the Young Womans Prologue The Gentle Reply Nice Encomium Moriae, but love not yet, Tomorrow with you I may share my life I am more than an expensive trophy wife Maybe in the future with you I will commit, Right now men of means are a better fit, Today you meager means do not suffice For my beauteous looks do entice I can take my sweet time and wait a bit, Until then, I will remain unfettered You may linger outside my apartment, Do not interfere with other suitors The ones with suit and tie are your betters. You may wait until I find a replacement, Or please go find a new date at Hooters. Bus Driver Young man, I love romantic sonnets of your sort, But I even liked better your friends gentle retort. While your mellifluous tongue may gently woo in the dark, Your lady friends words hit closer to the mark. A boy is in lust with a woman when he dreams Of her surrender to his many sexual schemes. A man is in love with a woman to me it seems When he dreams to make her dreams his dreams.

When you were not home O, dear, When you were not there, The colours had lost Their luster, The wind had lost Its velocity--Earlier, you remember, It would come down from The hills yonder Like screaming children returning home From a four-walled prison-house called school, And, leave the valley and the quaint English cottages Rattled and shaken in the sea-whipped Hebrides, You would snuggle up to me, Scared like a child, Seeing demons in the rushing wind--And it scarcely sings. The framed collage of pictures left dangling On the bare white walls, Like a red tattoo on a white chest, By your tender tapering fingers--Artistic fingers, they say, Long and tapering With sensitivity pads, Reveal the artistic bent of mind, And you were/are An artist who never painted But creates art objects in home Out of ordinary pots and pictures Done in a regular pattern, Creating art,
Page | 43

Out of the mundane--All the pictures, Moments of happiness and frenzied delight Caught forever on celluloid, Those pictures have all slipped out From that precious collage--My only memento of you--Like truant children And, escaped into this deepening night. Together, It was so ordered and ordinary world for me, In your absence, Hark, You, the pilot of my life--It has become a topsy-turvy world, Without illuminating light, Stranded and abandoned, I sit down and write. VOICE OF A YARNING HEART

I am inside the SEVENTH season, need you and your care for me, need your soft careful voice, need all the joy that nature feel. But, where are you??? You have vanished from my time, promised not to appear again; Is it good and is it your judicious decision, when you know that, nobody is pure and perfect in this world of illusion. You know, this world is full of sorrows and joy, We are also not here for civilization to come, We are here, to do what our conscious mind speaks, We are here, to appreciate the kind nature and that unknown whom all say GOD. So... Oh! my purest heart, Letting go the poisons of our arguments, Letting go the feelings of sorrows Letting go our pride and anger, Letting go what we destroyed yesterday, I welcome you cordially to my abode of happiness, where sky is more blue, where birds sing song of LOVE, where moon writes poem with stars, and, where ocean paints the stories of ages, to feel and enjoy our little moment. Please come... Sarojini Pattayat

Just for you to know I know youre broken and sad, Know you never wanna love again, But its just for you know that, A tree never dies being ripped off of fruits. I know your life fells empty, Know you wanna die just to rest, But its just for you know that, A river never dries itself when monsson ends. I know youve been betrayed, Know you want the best support, But its just for you know that, Every drop of wax still can make a candle, new thread. I know you loved for him too much, U think youre nothing without him, But its just for you know that, Never will a sea caese to exist if left by a river.

Without you Pockets empty, eyes full, Eyes full, mind blank, Without you I feel, Like I wanna shoot myself point blank.

Mind blank, body numb, Body numb, feeling dumb, Without you I feel, Like to death will my life succumb.

Feeling dumb, drinking rum, Drinking rum, pains awesome, Without you I feel, Like I want my death to come. Pains awesome, lifes gruesome, Lifes gruesome, tears blossom, Without you I feel, Like my time on earths done. Hiten Shah

Im happy when I should be sleepy, Thinking about you sure is creepy, But youre stuck on my mind like glue, Unfortunately my heart sings you you and you.

Im felling cute like a cheek of a kid, Knowing its love what my heart did, Ive cried of joy and Im wet like dew, Definitely my heart laughs for you you and you.

On the Threshold of a Dream Once he was rejected so many years ago Once he was tormented, how could she ever know? Once she really liked him, but fate would not allow Once she could have loved him, but missed the boat somehow He stumbled onwards through his life in clear and constant pain He erected his own barriers, to hide it just the same So standing on the stage of life, the play is unforeseen He found himself tied up and trapped On the Threshold of a Dream Why did he then falter, not play his final hand He never could forget her or everything he planned He walked away not looking back, no rhyme or reason why She moved away, his love destroyed, he lived his life a lie The bitter tears of wasted years returned to haunt his mind And yes he had his fatherhood, he left the past behind But always there, right by the wings, in the stage of lifes long scene He still looked back, and found himself On the threshold of a dream Now in the Play an interlude a brief but precious time She found him there upon his stage but saw him past his prime She held out her hand and smiled at him and asked him for a dance He saw her there stood in the wings, his last and final chance A moment of bliss where time stood still their passion reaffirmed Now separated once again but now the lessons learned He wont let go and walk away from loves most

precious scene A future now a promised vow On the threshold of a dream Finally yes finally she walks upon his stage His wounded heart is fully cured shes part of his lifes play The audience have left the show, after thunderous applause She leads him now her loving hand guides him through her lifes door His one true love, his destiny, his futures cut and dried Now through the years he has no fears his heart is filled with pride Both old and grey the loves still there and life is so serene And though they aged they turned their page On the threshold of a dream Stephen Holland

She is the Girl Who Dumped me at School So into my life walks this girl with no name And changes my whole way of thinking today She is dark haired and smiling and so my heart grieves How do I talk to the girl of my dreams? Im uncouth and stupid shes out of my league She is so far beyond me Im led to believe My defenses go up, I try to act cool She is the girl who dumped me at school I pursue her with passion, but hung without rope Im tongue-tied, embarrassed, exist without hope Relentless I chase her, my sanity bruised Hormonal and love-struck and so so confused If loving is this when Im dying inside I offer my soul to be wrapped up and tied Life is so pointless and bitter and cruel She is the girl who dumped me at school Wonders of Wonders I think she is mine She reels me in on a hook with no line A few days of heaven, incredibly proud Im walking with giants my head in the clouds I think shes my soul-mate one promised to me Until I am sick with my head on her knees My soul is laid bare, I am such a fool She is the girl who dumped me at school My worst fears have risen it simply wont work We still can be friends - Im incredibly hurt! Its like bereavement except you cant mourn I cry on the sofa all night until dawn I have to be friendly tormented I try We walked in the park while the months slipped on by

The chapter then closes the book used for fuel She was the girl who dumped me at school Friendship can spring from roots long decayed Gillian baby Im still so amazed Now part of my life, I hope and I pray Id promise the world to you even today Im long in the tooth with balding grey hair But Im still seventeen in my head when youre there Forgive Im outspoken and stubborn like a Mule I still love the girl who dumped me at school Stephen Holland

Charting a path Each night I press my ear to your empty pillow as if it were a seashell, conch or nautilus and while your voice used to echo each night that we were forever and anchored and true your pillow now only provides me with the deafening silence of distant waves from a now vacant shore where we once laid with bodies and words intertwined in the sand drawing a map with our fingers and charting the path of our journey to a world of occupied sheets and pillows and flesh where we would be forever and anchored and true Steven Harz

BECAUSE I LOVE YOU Let our two souls reach out in love, which from my side would put a love-besought Julliet to shame, Let your two intense eyes see my sensitive beauty capable of launching two ships, if not a 1000 heartless ones, Let your two ears hear my words of earnest contemplation for you which will never ever be like the words of Delilah, which treacherously deceived poor Samson's heart, Let your two lips respond in pleasant, pleased replies when I warn you in the manner of an overwhelmed Calphurnia who bade Caesar not to go to the Capitol - for her dreams - like mine for you - wished only for his welfare, Let the two of us make out of our lives true love imprinted on two diamond rings on our ring fingers, Why can't our two auricles and our two ventricles render sweet resonance that echoes romantically in my heart? I admit that my heart has its two reasons of liking you for your qualities of sharing and caring, This whole poem is about the number "two" I'll end it on a twist by changing the number: Let our two hearts beat eternally, not as two, but as one because I love you! This Valentines Day, May our iridescent dreams come true! Heera Nawaz

Candle And Moth: A Ghazal In English In the far away lands I saw its glare, The candle at which the moths do stare; There I sat with my mates to see- How, The moths embrace death? How they dare? Came a sound from the midst of the crowd, Challenging my art in taunt and in jeer; Confident, I spoke to them of the moths, The ones who circumbulate the fire; And I spoke to them of the candle, To which all those fragile beings cower; Bonds of life, of death and of love, I spoke to them of the cotton they share; They asked why do only moths die so, Why is that the candle seems not to care; Little did they watch the fiery beloved, Lit at the dusk, and at dawn not there! As it mourns the death of a pilgrim, Weeping I saw it, in its eye a tear; It is in the nature of love when pure, The lover, the beloved- nobody does it spare! All in vain, moth tried to plant a kiss, The flames bent a little in utter despair; By then the moth had become eternal, Precious was no more the candle's flare; love- the dirtiest of the nature's forces, Knows no warning, knows no scare; Love absorbed the two & I, the crowd, August the way, Waseem ended the affair. Nostalgia: Years Later Years later, As I passed by your streets, I felt the same euphoria, That I had felt years ago, When you pretended to be mine, And I was all yours. Years later, As I saw you in my dream, The same pain charred my heart, That I had felt years ago, When you freed your hand, From the clutches of mine. Years later, As I remember the days, gone, The same ecstasy possesses me, That had been there the night,
Page | 56

When you kissed me the last time, And then you were gone. Years later, As I pass by your streets, I wish I had never met you, I wish you had never left, And I had never loved youFor it has been a costly affair, Costing me my heart and my life. Yeas later, As I write these lines, I wish you could be here, To see the bleeding fingers, To love and be loved, again, But I know what happened- years ago, Can never happen again- years later... Jim, My Love I cry for the Love I cry for the pain of the love I cry for the joy of the love I cry for the surrender of the love I cry for lost love For My Love The wind that blew around us, scared us, scarred us The heat and fire seared us, Scorched us and burned And we were afraid My Love I cry for the memories that haunt us, healed us, helped us The horrendous desperation of lost lovers Withering My Love

The many nights, days, years, that I carried you beneath my left breast and was comforted that you remained, if in splinters My Love

As I walked the floor endless nights, endless days, in countries near and far, aching for you Feeling your love through distance and time My Love

A pain so deep it stays a lifetime remaining, sustaining, ravaging, and comforting, taunting, remembering, with a life of its own My Love I cry knowing she never loved you as I would have, could have and did even years apart, worlds unknown and infinity to the depths and heights of ecstasy My Love The battle scarred heart with lust filled memories of your touch, your tempting smile and your swaggering manner, your vanity My Love All that was you, bad and good, lost and found, below and around I loved, I adored Though I never returned to you, My Love Return to me now in death and let me mourn, let me hold your apparition, just a glimpsing part, a piece of my destiny, of what was meant to be, My Love That I let slither through my fingers never to be touched again in that secret part where
Page | 60

I held you dear and true and with honor within My Love Go my love into a lighter place where you will have no pain, go become what you were meant to be, love My Love I say goodbye with cry and despair, laughter and tears, and soul rending love through these years I say goodbye sweet one as you lay inside the quiet earth I cry My Love My Love My Love Linda D. Afraid to Dance She was naked underneath her 7 veils, She didn't dance, even shoes subdued her. She removed her first veil: She was depressed until she met me. She told me of scabs that remained opaque in her memory, She revealed this truth whilst self-love remained hidden. She held my arms, comforting the butterfly - she broke the chains that cocooned him. She is straight yet as illuminating as a transcendent rainbow.

She cried when my weakness became a source of her strength, She was overwhelmed by the mirror that showed her reflection in my eyes. She drowned in her own sorrow, She was oblivious to the love that evaporated oceans of doubt. She removed 5 veils too many, She was afraid to dance. Ushiku Crisafulli

Into The Twilight And so it is twilight, rush hour has past They started as two, and are two once more Years have been kind, but worse for some Aged bodies worn, wrinkles tell their stories Together, hand in hand they still walk a life time shared, no need for words Many lives they have lived, their journey almost done Hand in hand they walk into the twilight. A Love Crime A long way travelled but more to go Many friends a foot but more to show Friends will come and friends will go lovers move to and fro Flowers are found but eventually die Sometimes I laugh and sometimes I cry But to kiss you but one more time would bare chance to solve this crime S.Moore

A Broken Cave To where must I go in search of you, to toil forever in this never ending grace. I must learn to forget, my mind is wandering, to past days of triumph and glory was mine. I lean forward now in my brain, to search for tomorrow and where it lies. A never ending battle for love and respect, where Luther is ever present moaning for his unforgotten shame. It is Spring now opposite to twilight, where youth and lovers hold no bounds, and where melancholy moaners die in happiness. The love is not lost but hidden away in a broken cave that is my heart. S.Moore

We have waited too long We are all waiting in this room where your love has marked its place but never to come back like a dead cat rotting beside me but i never learned how to bury dead pussies. I was defeated. and the mice came out from the depths of hell in joy and ecstasy. They all came to bite a piece of my corpse but the hell I cared. Go on, you can have all of me. I have nothing to offer to life but this I always knew it was here where I was supposed to belong but every time it happen, the women keep coming to rescue me, they were like the angels and the sunsets the blue sky and the singing birds of the tropics
Page | 66

only to push me to a deeper well of shit. i heard a knock from the door. the mice retreated back to the kitchen. she was the 5th attempt of love the gods sent to me I opened it, she was beauty, she was the sun she was a goddess, she offers enlightenment she brings joy and pleasure she was just like them. I dig a blow to her body, I knocked her down and she lost her consciousness for a while then she came running down of the stairs, screaming. "asshole!, asshole!" I closed the door then locked it I have nothing left to give, love has failed all of us. There came all the mice again. and they are all in my bed, triumphant in their conquest against me and love. Silent Words She needs to hear the words he cannot say, And waits with bated breath to hear his voice Softly whisper sweet words in her ear. But she is met with silence. So she turns away. He feels her pulling back and wonders why The starry eyes that gazed upon him once are now Burned out, dark, invisible in the murky fog Of days and months spent listening to silence. He once reached out to touch her hand, to feel Her fingers gently curl around his own. Now he reaches out to grasp her like a life preserver But she is just beyond his reach. Shes stepping back and looking at her life And wonders how much longer she can stay. Its only silence keeping her with him. He can live without it, but she cannot. He walks in on her packing up her things, Drops into a chair and bows his head. The silence that has plagued him all his life Never seemed so final as it does tonight. I dont know why I stayed so long. It wasnt meant For you and me to share a loveless life. It only hurt us, you know that. We both Deserve to love someone, be loved by them. How can you say that? he replied in shock Youve always known how much you meant to me. The he fell silent, reeling to his very core.
Page | 68

How was I supposed to know? she asked. To read your mind? You know Im not clairvoyant. In all the time weve been together, never once Have you said the words I needed most to hear. I told you in the silence of a gentle kiss, As I held you close and let your heart feel mine Beat strong and steady with the love I had for you. I told you once Id never say the words. But you would find them if you searched for them. Now she is the one to fall silent as he reveals his heart, And wonders if perhaps she cannot feel Any more than he can say the words. Melindy Wynn-Bourne

Unresolved Mystery

Why do I love you? I cant seem to find the exact answers why I guess its just how love goes, Your heart beats for someone How long it will last, no one knows. Unraveling the mysteries of how love came to you and me On one fateful day, was it fate, mere destiny? Distance separating us cant even stop our yearning Our ever growing love. My feelings have conquered the depths of the oceans and seas Scanned the horizon as emotions soar high above the clouds, With every drop of my ink Your name, your sullen face I trace. Elizabeth E. Castillo

You and Me You and me, on the brim of past; holding hands, to cross the bridge of present; into our bright future. Can you or me Who can isolate two waves in the sea? Who can separate, two colors of a glowing flame? Who can breakdown, two souls intertwined by God? Who can take away lava from the volcano? Who can split breath and life? Who can steal soul from its soul mate? Can you or can me, stand against Gods Will Shalini Samuel

Unending Union Rose buds drenched in rain Bow to the gentle breeze passing Chirping birds fighting for their glimpse On the wild flowing clear stream

My mind fused with nature Almost in a dreamland My body forgot its presence A sudden splash opened my eyes

A couple on the other side Sitting beside each other Sad and worried faces Still holding their hands

The handsome boy said her Break over is over, darling Why are you still mad? Turned her face towards him

She pinched his pink nose Lovingly I hate you, my beloved A rose petal flew across I too ended up my snooze Shalini Samuel

On the Threshold of a Dream Once he was rejected so many years ago Once he was tormented, how could she ever know? Once she really liked him, but fate would not allow Once she could have loved him, but missed the boat somehow He stumbled onwards through his life in clear and constant pain He erected his own barriers, to hide it just the same So standing on the stage of life, the play is unforeseen He found himself tied up and trapped On the Threshold of a Dream Why did he then falter, not play his final hand He never could forget her or everything he planned He walked away not looking back, no rhyme or reason why She moved away, his love destroyed, he lived his life a lie The bitter tears of wasted years returned to haunt his mind And yes he had his fatherhood, he left the past behind But always there, right by the wings, in the stage of lifes long scene He still looked back, and found himself On the threshold of a dream Now in the Play an interlude a brief but precious time She found him there upon his stage but saw him past his prime She held out her hand and smiled at him and asked him for a dance He saw her there stood in the wings, his last and final

chance A moment of bliss where time stood still their passion reaffirmed Now separated once again but now the lessons learned He wont let go and walk away from loves most precious scene A future now a promised vow On the threshold of a dream Finally yes finally she walks upon his stage His wounded heart is fully cured shes part of his lifes play The audience have left the show, after thunderous applause She leads him now her loving hand guides him through her lifes door His one true love, his destiny, his futures cut and dried Now through the years he has no fears his heart is filled with pride Both old and grey the loves still there and life is so serene And though they aged they turned their page On the threshold of a dream Stephen Holland

We Belongs to us ever and forever I remember the moment you stepped into life my during abandoned and flavorless days, Of course only the fatality can spare me from such a lifetime memory. On that day, You silently entered my conference with your divine smile, Even your normal state enlightened me as am addressing only an angel in the crowd. The next few days were celebration to me, we meat, chatter and take in hand, We carry all our queries with extreme care and love, and were answered with up teem care and affection. My mind pushed into deluded state for another couple of weeks, Heart is missing its rhythm as it feels you, Your gentle foot steps are dismantled my atrium, My cognizant was lost in the dimple of your cheeks, My Lungs were not at all be in customary when I feel you, Joints are de-fastened by seeing you, I didnt make any holdup instead geared up myself. I anticipated first pitch of my life by holding tender heart on shuddering lower limbs. You discarded my offer by your silence, but your eyes were showering care for me. Your silences were drilled my heart and floods of pain were flooded out, but Our hearts were synchronized each other.
Page | 79

Kindly tell me why you walking away from my world being an empress of the same. You can impede loving me for any reason, Listen, my heart and soul are already yours forever, Only bereavement can spare me from loving you.

Briony I. Conversation And the name, Briony, do I recall correctly? Why, yes, it is. And is it Irish then? The name for an Irish colleen. From a plant, Bryonia. And this only grows in Ireland then? In the British Isles, it's a vine, not a flower--though flowerets it shows--delicate those. And from does it stem? the Gaelic? Saxon? the Anglos? From Britannia, from those Roman centuries, and now it's a vine you see on building walls. In Sherlock Holmes, Scandal in Bohemia, Irene Adler, a woman meant for him--though hardly--knowing him-but my point, she lived in a place named Briony Lodge. Imagine a vinecovered wall. Did I say it right? Oh, pronunciation: it's a long i (think of bride) and a long o (think of own) and a y--(though it sounds so, it doesn't end in e--and e in bride is not her end). 2. A Name's Meaning Bride stems from the Old English
Page | 81

Long I means she tells the narrative Long O means open, and owns the later y, that shriveled chromosome, that tells the making of a man, whom she, full x-ed, full sexed, will own. 3. The Disappearing River And then last night I dream of Briony Stream-in limestone country this disappears, a winsome stream, it courses, meanders, wanders through the countryside, touches with graciousness all it waters, greens, and suddenly it goes, it disappears, goes underground, I suppose. Only down to grow, to tell her further story, only there to feel full glory.

What Did I Lose Loving You

STAGE I You were there like an angel, True was seeming that fable. I loved you or at least thought so, Love was all that seemed sought by you. STAGE II You were always demanding more, But who knew that it wasn't just time. I gave it my everything or at least thought so, Love wasn't all that was actually sought by you. STAGE III You were always wanting me harder, But I am not a pleasure machine. I wanted to be a human again, Love wasn't sought by you. What I thought to be love wasn't love entirely, For she loved my presence not my absence.

I am home How easy my life is now you are here, Now I relish each breath, Now I crave the light and laughter you have brought me. I have fallen in love without taking a step, Fallen into the sweetest of dreams, Now I hope no one wakes me. The simplest gesture wraps itself around my heart, Where I will hold it forever, Each time we say goodbye a part of me weeps, Though I know it is not forever, To my aching soul it is an eternity. I see my happiness shine in your eyes, Every time you hold my hand my heart skips a beat. How sweet life is to be yours; How meaningless life is without you, They know nothing of the loneliness before you.
Page | 84

Nothing of the empty tears I cried day after day, How you did it, I ask myself, How did you banish the fear, the darkness; You have made me see that nothing is that bad, That I am strong and worthy of happiness, You have saved me from myself. Every day I wake up and smile to myself Knowing you are waiting for me, Knowing you can't wait to see me. How would I go on if you were not there to hold me up, To bless me with your love and light, How I am glad you have found me my life is now complete... I am home

Love Was

Love for me was everything, Beyond the troubles & distances. Love for her was something, Bound to touch & the distances. Mistake made. Love failed once. Love for me was everything, Beyond divinity & all the miles. Love for her was something, Bound to the kisses & smiles. Mistake made. Love failed twice. Love for me was everything, Beyond the doubts & suspicions. Love for her was something, Bound to me & the meetings. Mistake made. Love failed thrice. Love for me was everything, Beyond past & the time to come. Love for her was something, Bound to the chances & instances. Mistake made. Love failed again. I made a mistake, repeated it once, repeated it twice & repeated it again. Failed four times with different persons.. I don't fear the fifth time, but I'm simply too tired to love again the way they want... *Peace* Atul Kaushal

I am Waiting I am waiting for you...to let me go, The Reasons twisted and squeezed dry, For you have lost the Wonder of my Soul, Just leave the Explanation....where it lies.

I am neither Haunted...nor am I Torn, I have been a Traitor... In my own means, My Heart, This Affection...to loosed to mourn, Patchwork Promises left among these tattered seams.

The difficulty....that feeling of lonely as the Embers wax, Dancing round our Truth...caught in this endless Pirouette, Whittling away at Love until I am All.... that I Lack, You have not mustered the Courage of Goodbye....just yet.

Caught in this Twilight...of Love's impending Doom, The quiet Joy, the whispered speak...closing in like Shadows, Once It begins...one can not stop what comes so soon, So...I have been waiting for you...to let me go.

Roses Stumbling. (...Poems to My Self) Here in this Silence, I stumbled on You Like a chair left out of place, You were easy and I was wrong Caught in the noose with a twist of Fate. Could I have been more nonchalant about you? Guarding that persistent ache, Never realizing each moment with you Would leave me with my greatest Mistake. I held you at a distance for another Believing This...not quite worthy, The Greater has become the Less And the Least, The Most... Surely. And here now at last, lost in this Silence I cannot accept something less than Holy Letting go and living up to the consequence That You may never stumble upon....me. S.C Adams

Angel Beautiful she lays as the night has taken over the waking world; The words "I love you" warming her lips with baited anticipation. Can she see me as she sleeps? Am I dream? Am I real? May I touch the lips that have spoken my name in passion for all of these years? May I disturb the peace of sleep, all to satisfy my own need? Before me lay an Angel so inviting that the most devilish of thoughts rise to the surface and torment me with a thirst that cannot be sated. And even though myself indulgence calls, I cannot steal what you so genuinely offer in the waking world.

She is the Girl Who Dumped me at School

So into my life walks this girl with no name And changes my whole way of thinking today She is dark haired and smiling and so my heart grieves How do I talk to the girl of my dreams? Im uncouth and stupid shes out of my league She is so far beyond me Im led to believe My defenses go up, I try to act cool She is the girl who dumped me at school I pursue her with passion, but hung without rope Im tongue-tied, embarrassed, exist without hope Relentless I chase her, my sanity bruised Hormonal and love-struck and so so confused If loving is this when Im dying inside I offer my soul to be wrapped up and tied Life is so pointless and bitter and cruel She is the girl who dumped me at school Wonders of Wonders I think she is mine She reels me in on a hook with no line A few days of heaven, incredibly proud Im walking with giants my head in the clouds I think shes my soul-mate one promised to me Until I am sick with my head on her knees My soul is laid bare, I am such a fool She is the girl who dumped me at school

In the world of work Numbness

Of careful control A breakthrough A bloodsurge A shift in the wall Awake in the grayness Mist peeling away An old new morning Colors A name for it all Withered emotion Refilled with life A long ago feeling Returned from lost pages From volumes of self On this day of joined skin Rain and sun mixed On this blessed day with her

Memories of Love How could I describe The true feelings I have inside That take me to paradise To hell and heaven in just one night. How can I truly speak when for words there is no need senses and images of all remain quietly as proof of love. The simple images I treasure most The orange flower ensign of Love The long walk along the shore One starry night and much more. And I still listen to you my love Saying in Spanish just two words Te quiero with heart and soul A dreaming Hastings by the sea shore. The flower died long time ago leaves no proof of deed at all just memories of a youthful love carrying with it sweetness, tenderness and more.

Sightless Insight

I am different from others but still among you my brothers, Whether its day or night, I don't bother. How can I feel the colour of rose to which you bow? How can you explain to me the splendid beauty of a rainbow? Yes! I am blind, But do you think God to me is so unkind?

For me you feel sad, And say Oh! The poor lad. To me you sympathize, And utter your usual empty cries. To me you extend your hand, As if without you I can't stand.

They care for me, my parents and my friends and everyone, If I get a little scratch, they make a fuss in unison. I try to walk, running they come, To help me, as if I need some. No school, no play, just stay at home all the day, A scratch to you, a band-aid and smiling you go away.

I have experienced the things you have never, Ran into walls, fallen from stairs, not so clever. Yes, it uses to pain me a lot,
Page | 96

What pains more, is cheap your thought. You think without you we tremble, Forgotten you have, for me life is more than a gamble.

And yet, I have loved the things which you don't adore, Unseen to you, easily you ignore. Talk to me the fragrance of wet soil in midsummer eve, And doors and windows through their loving creaks. Gloomy, below the overcast sky you feel, Rejoice I the warmth, filled with zeal.

Give me a chance, my friends, not your extra care, To prove to the world that I can also dare. Let me live my life, my own way, Let me do what I prefer and not just your say. I am also one of you, can always put a fight, So what if you have sight, don't forget we have insight. Sameer Sinha
