Mrs Muffet's lanturnes lit the blogland of Sulekha with so many colorful lamps, and I thought , with Diwali around the corner, lets try to make an effort to make it brighter! Firstly, thanks to MM for passing the baton to me. Binaji is sick, Ghazzie is busy, and PEC has to go on. So here I come with this week's theme for poems! In the past few weeks, we have learnt to count, err.. count syllables, I thought how about learning about shapes? The week's theme is going to be " DIAMANTE." It is a very simple form of poetry, and the whole poem shapes up to form a diamond! There are 7 lines to it, where in the first line and the last lines are Antonyms/Synonyms. RULES : Line 1: Noun or subject Line 2: Two Adjectives describing the first noun/subject Line 3: Three -ing words describing the first noun/subject Line 4: Four words: two about the first noun/subject, two about the antonym/synonym Line 5: Three -ing words about the antonym/synonym Line 6: Two adjectives describing the antonym/synonym Line 7: Antonym/synonym for the subject (sources of the poetry form from Shadow Poetry.com) The fun part is they do not require syllable counting. All of us are going to busy this week, and hence I thought of choosing this form, a very simple form. Some examples are on my comment section. I am unable to formatt or edit the formatting, all the words appear in a single row! Please check the comment section :)
EXAMPLES:

Rain clear, pristine splashing, drizzling, pouring, fresh, zesty, cold, numb, freezing, biting, shivering, tempest, stormy Blizzard

Life beautiful, tough challenging, exciting, thriving adventurous, oriented, silent, slumber grieving, mourning, depressing ambiguous, solemn Death..
