Adkins 905 South 8th Street Fernandina Beach, Florida 32034-3706 Dear Representative Adkins: I received your July 25, 2013 e-mail announcing the 2013 Education Leadership Summit will focus on current education issues, higher education (connecting the skills of our students with the needs of employers), common core state standards, and middle school reform. Like you, I am interested in education. I have been fighting the education establishment‟s curriculum since 1979 when I retired from the Navy and put my youngest two children into the Alachua County School system. In 2012, Representative Perry and I discussed education and he asked me to help him fix the system. He gave me the opportunity to address this issue by rewriting FS 1003.42 attached. Researching and rewriting FS 1003.42 reminded me the information and philosophy taught in today‟s public schools affects the philosophy of government and this country‟s future for generations to come. My research reveals  The curriculum in FS 1003.42 has nothing to do with literacy or education, as most people understand it.  FS 1003.42 has a Florida title but DOE bureaucrats and others dictate the Marxist-Humanist curriculum taught in Florida‟s public schools.  An ongoing long-term effort by the federal education establishment, Marxist one-worlders, tax-exempt foundations, Rockefeller, Carnegie, Council of Foreign Relations, Aspen Institute and others, are hell bent on destroying this country, its declaration of independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights by conditioning, indoctrinating, and preparing future generations to give up their sovereignty and accept global governance under UN auspices.  Historical revisionism designed to destroy American values, and create dependency through planned ignorance that achieves the long-term goal of making people susceptible to socialist slavery. Education is a 10th Amendment state right. The relevant history section in the attached working paper reveals the influence that the Council of Foreign Relations, Rockefeller, and Carnegie foundations et al have had on education in the United States. Juxtaposing the literacy and educational standards of the eighth grade 1895 and 1954 civics requirements against today‟s standards answers the question asked by Representative Yoho when he went to Washington:  “What kind of government do we have? I returned Friday from two days in Washington and asked several Washington staffers what form of government we had. As expected, they answered ‘a democracy.’ We have a lot of work to do for if the people in government do not understand what form of government we have (a Constitutional Republic) how can they lead?” Page 1 of 2

It also gives meaning to the following quotes:  Vladimir Illyich Lenin said, "Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted."  Joseph Stalin said, “Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed."  He also said "America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within." Public education and FS 1003.42 as it exists today accomplishes all three.  Lenin also said, “Medicine is the keystone of the arch of socialism” and “The goal of socialism is communism.” Now we have Obamacare.  On November 6, 1933, Adolph Hitler said, “When an opponent declares, „I will not come over to your side,‟ I calmly say, your child belongs to us already. . . . What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.”  On May 1, 1937, [Hitler] declared, “This new Reich will give its youth to no one, but will itself take youth and give to youth its own education and its own upbringing.” -- William Shirer, Rise and Fall of the Third Reich New York: Simon and Schuster, 1960), 249 Common Core supporters include a wide swath of politicians. Mike Huckabee, Mitch Daniels, Haley Barbour, Bobby Jindal, Chris Christie, Susana Martinez, Rick Snyder, and our Governor Rick Scott. None are constitutional conservatives. Similarly, Former Governor Jeb Bush, whose father George H.W. Bush said,  he wanted to “make the UN a cornerstone” of his administration‟s “plans to construct a New World Order”1 and who announced his hopes for “a United Nations that performs as envisioned by its founders”2 is leading the education reform efforts in Florida is included in this mix. FS 1003.42 achieves the long-term goals of No Child Left Behind and its successor, Common Core, both of which are Marxist-Humanist UN Agenda 21 driven designed to program Americans by stealth into accepting the melding this country into a world of global governance over time. Following the money begs the question: Who is getting “grants" etc. from whom? How many of these legislators are on Jeb's Chiefs for Change? That you advocate Common Core is reprehensible. This is a clear violation of your oath to “support” the Florida and U.S. Constitution. Similarly, your willingness to destroy this country‟s Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights for power, position, and pieces of silver speaks volumes to the reasons why millions of Floridians and I oppose your agenda.
