THIS SUNDAY is high attendance day in Sunday School.

No, this is not our annual Tailgate High Attendance Sunday that will be September 8, 2013. We are not having a special guest or special emphasis in Sunday School this week either. Every Sunday is High Attendance Day. Every Sunday we should be seeking to increase the number studying God’s Word. Every Sunday is High Attendance Day. What can you do? BE IN SUNDAY SCHOOL THIS SUNDAY! You can begin working now toward our September Tailgate Party and really have the highest attendance ever! Youth Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast resumes this week. As you head back to school it is my prayer that teachers and students have a God honoring, safe and productive year. Prayer is the way to make this happen and I look forward to being with our youth this Tuesday, 6:45AM, at Betty’s. Nolan Lovering has served FBC this Summer as our Summer Youth Intern. Did you know that he also preached each Sunday morning at the Notchaway Baptist Church? Nolan leaves for college next week and I have asked him to preach for us this Sunday Morning. Come and encourage this young man as he begins his journey to the Pastorate. I look forward to seeing you Sunday.

SAINTS ALIVE
Thanks to SA Choir for sharing “The Longer I Serve Him,” in the evening worship last week. Lynn Ray did an awesome job with the solo, as well. As we discussed, we’ll kick off our new year of fun, singing and ministry by meeting again at 10:30 on Monday, August 5. If each of us bring a friend, we can double our attendance. Just think of the excitement and opportunity!

SEEKING TEACHERS
Many of the teachers on both Sunday and Wednesday nights are being called to other areas of service. I know this means that many of our members are now being led to serve in our children's ministry. If you are feeling the Holy Spirit call you, now is the time to serve! We are in critical need of teachers on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, especially men. Don't miss out on the blessings God has for your obedience! If you are interested in serving, please call me at my number below or try the church office at 229-246-1563.

PLEASE WATCH FOR UPCOMING EVENTS!!!

Child Registration
I am asking every parent to complete a registration form for every child in his/her home. Registration forms will help keep our office records up to date, introduce your family to your child's Sunday School teacher and help me create a email list so I am sure to reach you with all that is happening in our Preschool and Children's Ministries. Forms can be found on the church website at www.fbcbainbridge.com. Simply hover over "Mininistries" on the top menu bar. Then hover over "Children on Facebook" and the "Child Registration" option will appear. Be sure to include your email address!

CHANCEL CHOIR
It’s a joy to welcome Troy Long to the ranks of Chancel Choir servants. In his words, he is getting back to choir after taking some time off. Welcome back, Troy. In last Sunday morning’s worship, my son Nathan and his friend Jennifer jumped in to sing with us as we shared in the 11 AM service. Thanks for your support of the Chancel Choir when they sing. Your words of encouragement help to validate the hours of rehearsal they spend to bring uplifting music to you in our Worship Services.

Promotion Sunday: August 4th
Attention 5th Grade Parents: We will have a special recognition during the 11 am service for the upcoming 6th grade class.

School's Back, Jack!
We'll be having a party on Wednesday, August 7, at 6:45 pm in the 5th Grade Sunday School classroom. School's Back and it's time to celebrate! There will be snacks, games and tons of fun!

Kindergarten Recognition Sunday
Our Kindergarteners, soon to be 1st Grade, will be recognized on Sunday, August 11 during the 11 am service.

YOUNG MUSICIANS
Kelley Harrell, longtime leader of the older children’s choir know as the Young Musicians, has resigned to use her musical gifts in leading the youth praise team MARTUS. Our thanks to Kelley for her years of sacrificial service and leadership of our older children.
