The City of Watertown’s Department of Public Works crews will begin the process of replacing a 165’ section of asphalt on North Meadow Street. This work will be performed between Coffeen Street and Prospect Street. Weather permitting; the road maintenance crew will begin the work on Friday, August 9th @ 6:00am. This work is expected to last through 1:00 pm. Throughout this portion of the project, North Meadow Street between Coffeen St and Prospect St will be CLOSED to ALL traffic. Local residents should make arrangements to park on nearby side streets while this work is underway. Public Works crews will follow standard protocol to establish traffic control on-site while the project is underway. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes on these dates. If traveling through, motorists should exercise caution when encountering work crews and work zones.
