Contributions to Lautenberg Clinton Committee will be allocated as follows: All funds raised shall be divided equally between Lautenberg for Senate and Hillary Clinton for President. The maximum amount that an individual may contribute is $4,600. The maximum amount that a federally-registered multi-candidate committee may contribute is $10,000. Amounts allocated to Lautenberg for Senate will be designated to the 2008 New Jersey Senate general election and amounts allocated to Hillary Clinton for President will be designated to the 2008 presidential debt retirement. Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant. The committee will allocate contributions according to the described formula except in cases where 1) a contributor designates his/her contribution to be allocated in a different manner, 2) a contributor would be caused to become excessive, or 3) Hillary Clinton for President 2008 presidential debt retirement receives sufficient funds to satisfy outstanding debts. In the case of an excessive(s), an amount that will maximize a contributor's contribution(s) to a particular committee will be allocated with any remaining balance allocated to the next available committee described in the formula. In the case of outstanding debt being satisfied, an amount that otherwise would have been allocated to satisfy debt will be reattributed to a joint accountholder if available and the name of such is imprinted on the check or refunded to the contributor.

Contribution Guidelines:
Contributions to Lautenberg Clinton Committee are subject to the prohibitions and limitations of the Federal Election Campaign Act. Contributions from corporations, labor organization treasury funds, national banks, foreign nationals, and federal government contractors are prohibited. Anonymous contributions are prohibited. All contributions must be made from the contributors personal funds. It is illegal to reimburse any individual for a contribution to Lautenberg Clinton Committee. Individuals are strictly prohibited from accepting a reimbursement from another person for making a contribution to Lautenberg Clinton Committee To comply with federal law, we must use our best efforts to obtain and report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer of all individuals whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 per election cycle.
