FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mark Your Calendars for STEMxCON: The World’s First Massively Open Online STEM Conference August 9, 2013 - Announcing the 2013 Global STEMx Education Conference, the world’s first massively open online conference for educators focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and more! The conference will be held online, around the clock, over the course of three days, September 19 - 21, 2013, and will be free for all to attend! Our founding sponsor is HP, and core conference support is provided by the International Society for Technology in Education® (ISTE). STEMxCon will be a highly inclusive and engaging event that encourages primary, secondary, and tertiary (K-16) students and educators around the world to share innovative approaches to STEMx learning and teaching. The call for proposals is now open at http://stemxcon.com/page/2013-call-for-proposals. The public is encouraged to participate in the following number of ways. • Share the Call for Presenters with innovative educators who are part of your organization’s network or propose a panel discussion led by your organization. Students of all ages and levels are also welcome to present their work. Participate on our international advisory board. Educators can support the conference by offering guidance, publicizing the event, and moderating sessions during the three day conference. Suggest potential keynote speakers using this online form. Join us as an outreach partner to help get the word out about the conference and about your STEMx oriented initiatives. This opportunity is open to non-profit organizations and educational institutions.
