Lobo is a Czarnian with exceptional strength and fortitude. He enjoys nothing better than mindless violence and intoxication, and killing is an end in itself; his name roughly translates as "he who devours your entrails and thoroughly enjoys it." He is arrogant and self-centered, focusing almost solely on his own pleasures. Although, he proudly lives up to the letter of his promises, but always no more or no less than what he promised.

Batgirl is Barbara Gordon, a confident young woman as committed to justice as her father, Gotham Citys top cop Commissioner Gordon. Scorpion was a ninja of the Shirai Ryu, who was originally killed along with his fellow clansmen by the original Sub-Zero. Soon after, the necromancer Quan chi transformed him into a wraith fueled by vengeance, in exchange for fighting on behalf of the Netherrealm within the Mortal Kombat tournament. After finally defeating and killing Sub-Zero, Scorpion returns to the Netherrealm to continue doing Quan Chi's bidding.

General Dru-Zod is a former Kryptonian military general and an enemy to Superman. Exiled to the Phantom Zone by his people for treason after being exposed by the scientist Jor-El, he survived the destruction of Krypton and swore revenge against Jor-El and Jor-El's son. He was a leader of the Kryptonian Military Guild before being imprisoned in the Phantom Zone.
