1.Work with as much thread as you are comfortable with and still avoid tangles. The following directions are based on the assumption that the tail will always be on the bottom left. Thread the needle and pick up 11 red, 1 copper, 1 round, 1 copper, and 2 red. 2.Leaving a tail of about 8 inches, bring the needle back through all of the beads and pull snug, forming a circle. 3.Pick up 2 red and 1 copper and bring the needle up through just the 4mm round in the circle. 4.Pick up 1 copper and 2 red and bring the needle down through the last 7 beads (2 red, 1 copper, 1 round, 1 copper, & 2 red) used to form the circle and pull snug.
