Our High Attendance Day and Tailgate Party is fast approaching.

Has your class set their goal? This coming week has traditionally been one of the least attended Sunday’s of the year due to the three day weekend. Can you help break that trend this year? September begins the new church year. Let’s start it off right by being in Sunday School and Worship this week and let’s break all Sunday School attendance records the next week. Come dressed in your favorite team colors on Sunday, September 8, and join the party! Part of our worship is giving our tithe to God. Church budgets are projected on the amount of giving from the previous year and voted upon as a pledge to meet through the current year. Right now we are about three weeks behind on what was projected to be given in the budget. I want to gently remind you that we have made a pledge to God and His ministry through our budget process, let’s keep that pledge. I look forward to seeing you in Sunday School and Worship this Sunday.

Only 8 spots left! I am searching for the last 8 people to help out in Extended Session. You will only be called on to serve 7 or 8 times the entire year during the 11 am worship service on Sundays. Please consider being a part of this wonderful ministry! Contact me using the phone number or email address below. September Sundays for a Sundae! We still have room for more children in our Wednesday evening Children’s Choir. The kids are having a great time learning and singing. Friends of our kids are welcome and prospects are eagerly sought.

We’ve premiered the new Christmas musical, “The Jesus Gift” and it is great. Listening CD’s are available for your use to practice away from our regular rehearsal times. I’ve posted a list of the bonus practices in the Choir Room, so stop by and get your copy. I really encourage you to join us on Wednesday nights. You will be blessed as you participate.

The Saints Alive Choir have been invited to share with the Keenagers at Bainbridge United Methodist Church next Wednesday. I’ll bring the music if you’ll arrive at 11:45 for our sound check. Wear your shirts and khaki slacks. PIANO FOR SALE. SEE SHELL ANNEX BULLETIN BOARD FOR MORE DETAILS.
