MACHINA will be parting ways with “Making of Rock Stars”
The band announces September, 1 split from any and all production of “Making of Rock Stars”

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 1, 2013) – Machina, the multilayered rock / melodic post-grunge rock / southern metal band has decided to part ways and ties from the forthcoming reality television series “Making of Rock Stars,” due to difficulties and artistic differences with the show’s creator, David DeLay. The Machina family is saddened for the fans that have eagerly awaited the program, moreover the new content from Machina. As Machina will be making a complete severance of ties with Mr. DeLay, we will be removing ourselves from any other projects that he is affiliated with in perpetuity. Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Machina consists of FUTURE LEADERS OF THE WORLD vocalist, Phil Taylor, and former members of EVANESCENCE John LeCompt (guitar) and Rocky Gray (drums), with Thad Ables on bass. The band is currently taking a break from touring and recording new tracks in Nashville, TN. Machina continues to push and promoting the album, as well as its first single, "Crown." With a decade of commercial success already achieved among its members, Machina brings their experience into crafting new songs that not only appeal to a wide audience, but also resist falling into stale or predictable genre trappings. They are intent on remaining genuine to the art-form, embracing the diversity of their influences, and, in doing so, moving the genre forward. This official parting of ways from “Making of Rock Stars” may seem like another barrier, but it is truthfully Divine intervention, Deus ex Machina. As Taylor said in the past, “Just when things may have seemed to cut Machina’s jour ney short, or potentially halt the release of this record, there has always been a break through, a push to move us for ward and get our music heard,” the band will continue to plow through barriers and separate themselves from their peers. “We put so much blood, sweat, and heart in this project, but really only God has got us to this point. For that, we are humble and thankful. I can honestly say without a shadow of a doubt, that we collectively are more excited about getting music out to our fans and performing it for them, than anything we’ve ever done in the past. All the struggles and challenges we’ve been through together over the past 7 years have only made us stronger, and more dedicated to our purpose.” Machina will continue to record new material, as well as explore all opportunities that are knocking, both nationally and globally. # # # For more information, please visit: Homepage/Facebook - Twitter - @MachinaRock Instagram – Machina_Rock Management Contact: Kevin P.
