Tagging B a s i c a l l y, t a g s a r e keywords associated with bookmarked content Compared with folders, tagging provides a more flexible way to organize, sort and find favorite contents. Tags provide a g reat way to filter and discover information. Share to Group When bookmarking a site, users can choose to keep the site for their own use of Share to a Group. Sharing to the Group allows group access to highlights, comments and notes.

With an educator account, the instructor can view group bookmarks, highlights, and sticky notes from the Diigo Teacher Console. It is not necessary to visit each bookmark to see annotations by students in the group.

Group members and/or the instructor can leave comments on bookmarked sites from the Diigo site. Bookmarked sites can be given a thumbs up also, which can be helpful when completing research projects.

It’s recommended that instructor’s maintain two accounts when using with students. One as the educator account and the other as the personal account. This keeps students from seeing ALL of the instructor bookmarks.
