Abbie Hook is a young and successful pop star.
Everybody likes her songs. Shes got money,
shes got a fast car, shes got a big house at the
beach and shes famous. But is she happy?
This is what Abbie says: Many people think
that if youve got everything you want, you are
happy, but this is not always true.
Her brother, Ben, is her manager. Abbie is
only nineteen and she hasnt got much
experience. Shes fortunate because she does a

got is that she doesnt want to be famous.
Abbie continues: When I go shopping,

Parents are not very happy about a

revolutionary project in Newcastle in the
north of England, but the local kids love it.
This is the idea: secondary school, for children
from 11 to 18, doesnt start until eleven
oclock, which means the children dont get up
at a normal time like half past seven. They get
up at ten oclock! The first class of the day is
always a subject in which you dont write
much, like art or music, because most people

I often go to the park with my friends to play

sports or have a picnic. Its a good park and you
can do lots of things. There are areas for
different activities. For example, you can play

you can go canoeing, but you must be careful.
When the weather is sunny and warm we spend
