B. 1. http://harvardmagazine.com/2009/11/new-media-transform-college-classes This article consists on the description about how a professor from Harvard University transformed the traditional classroom into a multimedia classroom, remarking the lecture and reading of lists as obsolete now that we have the chance of learning more through the impact of colorful images and audios at the same time for a more efficient learning experience. http://amt.caltech.edu/facilities/nmc In this case we can see how they acquired lots of equipment for a specific purpose in the classroom. It is fully prepared for recording lessons, thesis examsg, etc. Also it shows a very professional use of it. 2. I think as students of the new generation we would love to have such an opportunity of learning in this technological instance. I think that both the traditional and multimedia learning are important but it is a whole deal what it takes to concrete this as a project of such dimension in UNCa. Multimedia lessons, as the recreation of the ballet The Rite of Spring with audio, images, videos and flash pointers, take more attention and concentration from the student than normal lecture/reading, and it is someth ing were all capable of, listening and watching. But we cant replace lecture and say its obsolete since it is the main source of intellectual thought development. Unluckily we need lots of support in order to gather the required equipment to let this lessons take place. Furthermore, it requires specialized teachers on this subject, multimedia lessons. Multimedia lessons would be perfect, as an example, for English Literature lessons. We can see how this teacher applied it for the recreation of a ballet. This would be very useful for cinema topics. We can also make it an useful tool for English Language. C. 2. I would answer three of them. The questions about the internet and WEB; OLPC and Conectar igualdad; m-learning and e-learning. Internet and Web are not. Internet is a network of networks, a networking platform; that means it is the whole. The WWW or Web is a way of data travel through the internet; it works as a network inside of it. It is an information-sharing model. OLPC has nothing to do with Conectar Igualdad. The project was initialized by the Poder Ejecutivo Nacional, which took into account an economic, easy and fast enough as features for a Classmate type Netbook. Later on the project would be lunched by the

President herself. The netbooks were not 100% made in Argentina, they imported the pieces and built them in Tierra del Fuego. M-Learning is not the new name for e-Learning. They refer to similar but different things. M-Learning means mobile learning, that is a handheld device that allows you to get a lesson anywhere at any time. E-Learning is the use of the internet connection or any other network as to set up a class. It refers to the way that the lesson is established, although it does not specify a device. But we could say that when we take a lesson using a smart phone or tablet with an internet connection, we are not just making use m-learning but also of e-learning. 3. Is CMC the aim of CALL? No, it is not. The aim of CALL is the communicative competence through an interactive lesson via internet. CALL requires from CMC, but that is not its aim. Thus we can say that Computer Mediated Communication is the communicative interaction of two or more people through any electronic device that enables the users to communicate in whichever aspect they do. 4.
