Request for Proposals
At the 5th annual Pennsylvania Progressive Summit – in Harrisburg, March 1-2 – hundreds of social justice advocates, labor organizers, legislators, bloggers and grassroots activists will come together to advance progressive policy and build the progressive movement. While we are not always in agreement about tactics, the organizations that make up today’s progressive movement share a set of fundamentally American values, including equal opportunity and mutual responsibility, effective government, and hope for a better, more prosperous future for all Americans. The focus of this year’s Summit will be to recognize our shared values and seek ways to incorporate them into our discussions of strategy, programs, messaging, and policy. You are invited to submit a proposal for a workshop, presentation or panel for the 2014 Summit. Sessions will be 75 minutes long and will be throughout the day, Saturday March 1st. We urge you to design your session in keeping with the theme of working together to create lasting change, and to strive for authentic diversity on your panel. Return your proposal by Friday, November 15 to
