PRODUCT RANGE WHY HYOSUNG ELECTRIC TRACTION MOTOR?
To satisfy the needs of customers on traction motor for electric vehicles,
Hyosung provides a variety of motors (induction motor, interior permanent
magnet synchronous motor, spoke-type interior permanent magnet
synchronous motor) from 30kW to 150kW(based on maximum power)
that are optimized for the requirements of customer vehicles.
Categories of Motors Provided by Hyosung
Induction Motor (IM) : Cost-competitive motor that does not use rare earth
elements and its benets are in low noise and vibration. In addition to induction
motors benets, Hyosung differentiated its motors by enhancing induction
motors weakness on efciency and power density to the level of permanent
magnet synchronous motor.
Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) : To provide world
class performance (efciency and power density) on permanent magnet
synchronous motor that are mainly applied to hybrid and electric vehicles,
Hyosung is in the active pursuit of development.
Spoke-type Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (SIPMSM) : Next
generation motor that does not use rare earth elements (Nd-Free), it focuses
on providing equal level of efciency and power density while securing cost
competitiveness.
