The Eastern Michigan Writing Project invites you to join us in celebrating that dayencouraging and honoring all the many forms of writing that you, your students, and your community practice. Lets make southeastern Michigan a hub of writing activity by taking note of what, how, and why we write! Join other teachers to learn more about NDoW and develop activities you can take back to your classroom, school, and community to celebrate that day. Led by Cathy Fleischer, Co-director, EMWP and Chelsea Lonsdale, teacher consultant and First-year Writing instructor. At 11:30, a panel of college instructors will discuss the ways the National Day of Writing supports college readiness.
