The crossing of this Endless Ocean of samsara is enabled by the boat that is sincere devotion to Guru showing me the way to the valuable dominion of renunciation, O dear Guru, I bow to thy holy sandals.

Like a full moon for the ocean of the Knowledge, like down pour of water to put out the fire of misfortunes, Removing the various distresses of those who surrender to them, O dear Gurudev, I bow to thy holy sandals.

४ Attracting us to the Lotus-like feet of our Guru. . fulfilling all the desires of the disciple who bows humbly To such padukas I humbly offer my obeisance. effacing the endless darkness of the disciple’s sins. removing all kinds of desires borne out of ignorance. ५ Shining like a precious stone adorning the crown of a king They stand out like a beautiful damsel in a river infested with crocodiles They raise the devotees to the state of sovereign emperors. To such padukas my infinite prostrations. They endow us with the glorious six qualities like ७ Shama. To such padukas I humbly offer my obeisance. . . . . . I humbly surrender. to such supreme padukas of my Gurudev. :.Those who prostrate to the blessed padukas of their Guru become possessors of great wealth and overcome the curse of their poverty very quickly. . like an eagle for the snake like three-fold pains of Samsara like a conflagration of fire whose heat dries away the ocean of ignorance. . ६ Shining radiantly like the Sun.

८ Fulfilling all the wishes of the disciples. . Awakening the sincere aspirants to the divine state of self-realization. . granting us the knowledge to get instant liberation from the shackles of the life. who are ever-available and dedicated for Sewa. Again and again prostrate to those Padukas of my Poojya Gurudev . my prostrations to those holy Padukas of my Guru. . The preservation and dissolution Of the universe! May the devotion. who. Blessing us with the valuable treasure of discrimination and renunciation. transcends Himself.They vow to bless the intiated ones with the ability to go into samadhi. who resembles sky In clearness. . Blessing the devotees with permanent devotion for the feet of Lord Vishnu (Ramaadhava) to such divine padukas I offer my prayers. to whom are attributed The phenomena of all creation. to Shiva. ९ They are like an eagle for all the serpents of desires. While being Lord of all. The burning devotion of this my life Attach itself to Him. A HYMN TO SHIVA ॐ Salutation to Shiva! Whose glory Is immeasurable.

Past Samskâras.In whom Lordship is ever established. like water lashed to waves. that all power is but a semblance and a passing show. within man's heart. where the existence ends Of such conceptions as "within". Merge in the Real one. the suppression Of movements of the mind. the Great God! Whose warm embrace. Who causes annihilation of delusion. The name of "Mahâdeva".[1] stirring the energies With violence. Shiva I hail! . In which the tempest of the whole past blows. "without"—The wind of modification being stilled—That Hara I worship. the abode of calm! Where the ideas of parent and produced. made manifest. Whose most surpassing love. of Love personified. Purified thoughts and endless varied forms. Centred in Shiva. Has crowned Him with a name above all names. Displays. In which the dual consciousness of "I" and "Thou" Plays on: I salute that mind unstable.

whose gaze Is on the humble fixed. Whose laughter loud sheds knowledge luminous. Who. guard me. like the charming water-lily white. Whom Daksha's Daughter gave Her coveted hand. who is ready ever To part with life for others' good. we salute! Where do you search for me? . white. . beautiful As bloom of lotus white is beautiful. Is realised in the self-controlled heart: May that Lordly Swan of the limpid lake Of my mind. . by undivided meditation. . whose neck is blue[2] With the poison[3] swallowed: Him. prostrate before Him! Him. . Who.Kabir .From whom all gloom and darkness have dispersed. That radiant Light. . Who wipes the dark stain of this Iron Age. Is beautiful. the Master-remover of evil. .

English Translation: Where do you search me? I am with you Not in pilgrimage. nor in mosques Neither in Kaba nor in Kailash I am with you O man I am with you Not in prayers. nor in meditation Neither in fasting Not in yogic exercises Neither in renunciation Neither in the vital force nor in the body Not even in the ethereal space Neither in the womb of Nature Not in the breath of the breath Seek earnestly and discover In but a moment of search . nor in icons Neither in solitudes Not in temples.इ .

Today the summer has come at my window with its sighs and murmurs. The works that I have in hand I will finish afterwards. and my work becomes an endless toil in a shoreless sea of toil. Away from the sight of thy face my heart knows no rest nor respite. and the bees are plying their minstrelsy at the court of the flowering grove. Now it is time to sit quite. face to face with thee.
