AP Concentration
1st Marking Period 10/28-10/31 -
Proposal: 2 concentration ideas - For each idea you will write a brief concentration statement that is a proposal for what this concentration will be (question #1). For each of the two ideas you will present 4 of your photographs from last year or your summer work that go with this idea. These 4 photos will be like a mini concentration.You will also write a brief paragraph explaining specifically how those 4 photos represent your concentration statement (question #2). The last thing is to find an artist inspiration for each concentration idea. Write a sentence explaining who the photographer is and what their work is about, and another sentence explaining what inspires you about their work.You must also include a slideshow of at least 5 images of their work and a link to where those images came from (the artist's website). Complete this on a page titled 2: AP Concentration Proposal or 3: AP Concentration Proposal. AP work can also be used towards your Narrative work. A rubric and Artist Inspiration must be completed before shooting and turned in with final work for a grade for each AP assignment. 2nd Interim 11/22 - AP #1: objective, contact sheet, and at least 4 images on Concentration Page (you already have an artist from the proposal as inspiration for #1) 2nd Marking Period
1/14 - AP #2: objective, contact sheet, and at least 4 images on Concentration Page, artist inspiration #2 on Artist Inspiration Page

3rd Interim 2/18 - AP #3: objective, contact sheet, and at least 4 images on Concentration Page, artist inspiration #3 on Artist Inspiration Page 3rd Marking Period 3/26 - AP #4: objective, contact sheet, and at least 4 images on Concentration Page, artist inspiration #4 on Artist Inspiration Page 4th Interim
4/28 - AP #5: objective, contact sheet, and at least 4 images

FINAL: 4/28 - Concentration: create a 2: Final AP Concentration or 3: Final AP Concentration page and add your final 12 Concentration images to this page, numbered and in order, with the dimensions and medium listed for each (images must be added individually to this page). 4/28 - Breadth: create a 2: Final AP Breadth or 3: Final AP Breadth page and add your final 12 Breadth images to this page, numbered and in order, with the dimensions and medium listed for each (images must be added individually to this page) 4/28 - Quality: Turn in the files or prints for the 5 Quality pieces that will be mailed to CollegeBoard
