Kindly refer to this office order of even No. dated 31.01.2011 vide which ISD tariff for specific countries were revised. Based on technical non-feasibility reported by Nodal center in BSNL INs, it has been decided by the competent authority to further rationalize the ISD tariff for prepaid mobile services with the following terms and conditions:2. 3. This order will be implemented with immediate effect. In accordance with 43rd amendment of Telecom Tariff Order issued by TRAI which inter-alia states that a tariff plan once offered by an Access Provider shall be available to a subscriber for a minimum period of six months from the date of enrolment of subscriber to that tariff plan. However, due to technical nonfeasibility to implement different tariffs for new customers and existing customers, it has been decided by the competent authority to offer, as a special case, the pre-revised ISD tariff for a period of six months from the date of implementation of this order, to existing as well as new customers. However, any tariff plan presented, marketed or offered as valid for any prescribed period exceeding six months or as having lifetime or unlimited validity in lieu of an upfront payment shall continue to be available to the subscriber for the dur ation of the period as prescribed in the plan and in the case of lifetime or unlimited validity plans, as long as the service provider is permitted to provide such telecom service under the current license or renewed license. 4. This may be brought to the notice of all concerned for taking necessary action in this regard. Circles shall send SMS, conveying the above revision to the customers. Press note/proper advertisement may also be made. 5. The impact of this revision needs to be analyzed and feed back submitted on monthly basis to BSNL HQ on Fax No. 011-23329125 and e-mailprema@bsnl.co.in or skmohakud@bsnl.co.in.
