The
intent
of
financial
help

In
seeking
to
help
students
attend
a
Christian
institution
and
to
prepare
for
vocational
ministry,
Central

Christian
Church
of
the
East
Valley
has
established
a
scholarship
fund.

The
money
in
this
fund
will
be

granted
to
students
who
apply
and
meet
the
following
criteria.

This
is
not
a
grant
or
a
loan,
but
rather
a

scholarship
that
will
be
awarded
to
those
selected
by
the
Scholarship
Committee.

Who
can
apply?

We
will
seek
to
help
any
student
who
applies
for
scholarship
monies
and
meets
the
following
criteria.

Applicant
has
been
a
committed
follower
of
Jesus
Christ
at
CCCEV
for
the
past
year.

Applicant
seeks
to
fulfill
a
vocational
ministry
role
or
has
demonstrated
a
genuine
desire
to

use
his/her
Christian
education
as
a
platform
to
serve
God
in
his/her
professional
life.

Applicant
is
pursuing
an
undergraduate
degree
at
a
credible
Christian
institution,
as

determined
by
the
Scholarship
Committee.

To
apply
the
candidate
must
complete
and
submit
an
application
and
the
required
essay.

The

application
does
not
request
a
complete
financial
disclosure
statement
but
does
request
that
any

additional
scholarship
monies
granted
from
other
sources
be
disclosed.
In
addition
to
financial
need,
the

scholarship
Committee
will
consider
choice
of
institution,
intended
course
of
study
and
grade
level
when

awarding
scholarship
funds.

Choice
of
Institution

Scholarship
funds
will
be
given
to
undergraduate
students
who
desire
to
pursue
an
education
at
a

Christian
education.
The
institution
can
be
of
their
choosing
but
it
must
be
on
that
we,
as
a
church
and

determined
by
the
Scholarship
Committee,
recognize
as
offering
a
credible
Christian
education.
The

following
institutions
have
been
pre‐approved
by
the
Scholarship
Committee.
