This document proposes a method for calculating direct current (DC) fault currents in multi-rectifier powered AC/DC power systems. The method models each uncontrolled rectifier and solves the nonlinear equations describing the combined AC/DC system during a DC fault using Newton's method. It can account for fault current contributions from both rectifiers and DC motors. The method differs from previous approaches by using a more accurate solution technique, incorporating multiple fault current sources, and reducing computation time. A sample problem is provided to demonstrate the application of the method.
