2008Experience Workshop – International Movement for Experience-centered
Education of Mathematics (www.experienceworkshop.hu) is a professional
community of almost 200 mathematics teachers, scholars and artists from all around
the world. We organize mathematics and art popularization programs for students in
all age (math-art festivals, creative schooldays, workshops, exhibits, etc.) and
scientific events. Experience Workshop also develops school curricula and education
materials (scientific resources like books, albums, articles; and educational tools),
organize interdisciplinary trainings for teachers and for students in teacher education,
sciences and arts. Experience Workshop events in Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia,
Serbia, Slovakia and Poland were visited by approx. 20,000 students, 2000 teachers
and parents.
