THE CHICAGO SCHOOL OF PROFESSIONAL PSYCHOLOGY GRADUATES MASTERS CANDIDATES AT ITS 2nd COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY Maria S. Gomez, Marys Center Founder, to Deliver Keynote (Washington, D.C.) (October 11, 2013) The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP)one of the leading institutions devoted to psychology and the fields of behavioral and health scienceswill graduate close to 100 Masters candidates, and will welcome 400 or more family members and guests during its 2nd commencement ceremony at the NAHB National Housing Center at 1201 15th St NW on October 11, 2013. TCSPP-Washington, D. C. Campus graduates are from four different psychology programs offered by the institution. Dr. Michele Nealon-Woods, National President, TCSPP, and Dr. Orlando Taylor, President, TCSPP-D.C. Campus will lead the ceremony. TCSPPs D.C. Campus is the newest of the three campuses and this is its 2nd commencement ceremony. Maria S. Gomez, the founder of Mary's Center in 1988, which has a mission to build better futures through the delivery of health care, education and social services, will be presented with an Honorary Degree and deliver the commencement address. Gomez obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Georgetown University and a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of California at Berkeley. Gomez is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Washington Post Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Management, the Washington Business Journal Minority Business Leader Award, the Washingtonian of the Year, the Individual Impact Award by the D.C. Department of Health, You Are Our Star Recognition Award from March of Dimes, and the Diane Bernstein Children's Champion Award by DC Action for Children. Representing the Graduating Classes are: Sonya J. Bruton, M.A. Clinical Psychology DaKeisha M. Granderson, M.A. Counseling Psychology Malisa Shuler, M.A. Forensic Psychology Fatima Terry, M.A. Industrial and Organizational Psychology
