Role Playing Script: Learners: Good morning teacher! Teacher: Good morning class. Sorry Im late. So, today we are going to discuss about the government and its different forms. Class do you have any idea what the word government is all about? What comes to your mind when you hear the word government? Learner 1: (raises his hand) Teacher: Yes Jake! Learner: Maam government is a kind of agency that helps people in this country. Teacher: Yes. Very good! How about you Kris? Learner 2: Maam, government is that which guide the people to what program they may join to help make their life better. Teacher: Okey very good! At least you have something on your mind but to make those thoughts clear government is an agency through which the will of state is formulated, expressed and carried out. Without the government in our country, what do you think will happen in our country? Learners: There will be no people that will organize our country. Teacher: Correct! And if there will be no people to organize our country, we will be in Anarchy. What is Anarchy? It is a state that has no leader, that has no organization and everything is in distraction. Would you like to live in a place like that? Learners: No! Teacher: So, now that it is clear to us what government is, let us identify the different forms of government in the world, we have: 1. Absolute Monarchy the ruler rules by divine right 2. Limited Monarchy ruler rules in accordance with the constitution 3. Dictatorial political power is exercised by only one person

4. Aristocracy political power is exercised by a few privileged class 5. Democracy political power is exercised by a majority of the people 6. Unitary the control of national and local affairs is exercised by the central government 7. Federal powers of government is divided between two sets of organs 8. Parliamentary state confers upon the legislative the power to terminate tenure of office of the executive 9. Presidential state makes the executive constitutionally independent of the legislature To further understand our topic for today, let me show you this video.
