Food and Drink: Actual costs will vary by location, plus snacks, coffee/tea, water, and other beverages. Venues: a donated/sponsored venue for the event. Supplies: : Rented tables/chairs, name-tags, markers, dryerasers, paper, post-it notes, sketch-pads, tape, plates, napkins, utensils, etc. Startup Cup Travel and Accommodation: Set aside enough funds to cover the cost of a local/regional travel , Marketing Materials: If you plan on pursuing traditional marketing tactics (printing flyers/leaflets, paying for advertising space, etc.), account for this in the budget. Promotional Materials : T-shirts, stickers, water bottles, tote bags, notepads, pens etc. Its always a good idea to have something fun for attendees to take home from the event.
