This course has two main parts theoretical which explains the formula and the main information , the practical shows them how can they connect the stuff on the connection board, analysis it and measure it. It contains a knowledge and an explanation of batteries, DC circuits analysis, power energy and electrostatics . The main contents for this course are: primary and secondary cells, Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's law, power, series and parallel circuits , electrical charge , electromagnetism and magnetic circuits .

General objective of the course: The course is designed to give the trainees basic knowledge of electrical technology and batteries, principles DC circuits. Also how to analysis the DC circuits, and covered power and fundamentals of electrostatic electromagnetism and magnetic circuits .

1. know the basic knowledge of electrical technology . 2. Distinguish between the primary cells and secondary cells in batteries . 3. Describe the different types of batteries and their connections . 4. Identify the colors of the resistor and calculate the resistance . 5. Use the Ohm's law to find the voltage , current , resistance in circuit. 6. Describe the difference between the series circuit and parallel circuit and how to determine the total current and resistor . 7. Connect the series circuit and parallel circuit on the connection board . 8. Apply Kirchhoff's law and use the rule of current and voltage divider . 9. Determine the power in series circuit and parallel circuit . 10. Check for resistor failure with an ohmmeter . 11. Explain the terms used in basic electrostatics . 12. Describe the potential difference in the electrostatics . 13. Describe the natural and magnetic fields . 14. Explain the right hand rule . 15. Determine the direction of electro motive force [ EMF ] generated in a conductor moving vertically . 16. Apply Lenz's law for how electromagnetic circuits obey Newton's third law and the conservation of energy . 17. Comparison between electric and magnetic circuits . 18. Use the Ohm's law for the magnetic circuit . 19. Apply Kirchhoff's law laws for magnetic circuits . 20. Describe the application using simple magnetic circuits .
