TORIT BACKWARD INCLINED FANS

TBI-3, 5, 7.5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 (60 and 50 CYCLE)

Torit Backward Inclined (TBI) Fans provide a convenient, cost-effective method of integrating a high efficiency fan with a Donaldson Torit dust collector.

Mounts directly to the clean-air plenum

of the dust collector, eliminating costly transition ducting, and reducing footprint of the system.

Sizes range from 3 to 30 hp. Capacities from 1,400 to 10,300 cfm. Backward inclined fan wheel provides high
efficiency operation. of fan bearings and belts.

Direct-drive operation eliminates maintenance Computer balanced fan and motor assembly
ensures vibration-free operation.

All necessary hardware for quick and easy

installation is included.

Standard paint finish is blue. All 60 Hz motors are EISA compliant and meet
or exceed NEMA Premium* Efficiency Standards.

TBI-15 (60 Cycle)

Fan inlet spool piece is flanged and punched

for easier installation.

All cases are for uniform free-field propagation into a hemisphere (i.e. reflecting ground plane and neglecting any source directionality). Sound pressure levels are an overall average determined at the point of fan peak mechanical efficiency at one fan speed. (3500 rpm for 60 Hz fan/motor assemblies, 2920 rpm for 50 Hz.) 1 Sound pressure level at 1 meter (39") from fan case with fan inlet ducted and fan outlet open. 2 S ound pressure level at 1 meter (39") from fan case with Donaldson Torit High Performance Silencer and fan inlet and outlet ducted. 3 S ound pressure level (Lp) at 45 degrees and 1 meter (39") from Donaldson Torit High Performance Silencer discharge. No fan case/motor noise (silencer discharge noise only). * dB(A) sound levels are an average of measurements made in a laboratory environment. Installed sound levels will vary depending on the measurement location, operating conditions, and installation.
