All characters start with 3d8x10 gold pieces. Other coins used are silver and copper pieces (10 copper to a silver, 10 silver to a gold). Characters start with clothes, a backpack, a few pouches and minor items.

Encumberance

Partial Plate, Bohemian * -2 Once you've bought equipment, add up according to the Chain Mail -3 following list (small items like arrows can be grouped into tens to count as one item). Each weapon is one item, except Shield, Large * -2 large ones causing 1d10 damage, which count as oversized. Shield, Small * -1 Animals and wagons can be used to carry large amounts of items. Use common sense. Also apply the Strength Unarmoured 9 Encumberance Modifiers. Encumberance affects you ability to move and perform many actions, and to outrun pursuers. * These are added to other armour worn.
