Sounds for –ed (t, d, ed)
Objective: To practice the 3 sounds –ed makes at the end of words.

 Choose a set of cards (short, long or mixed vowel sound) and the Game Playing Mat  Students say the word on the card and place the card in the correct column that matches the sound for –ed on the Game Playing Mat.  Once all cards are laid on the Game Playing Mat, students write the answers on a recording sheet to turn in or they can self-check with the answer key.
