It’s called nLite, and it’s available at www.nliteos.com. The Next Is Copy the Windows Installation Disk to Your PC, With these in place, you are ready to go.

The Unattendence Begins Now… Open The Installed nLite Software With such An ICON The Following Screen Will Appear

Click On Next Select the path where you have copied your Installation Disc, I have Selected “C:/Windows Unattended/”

Click On Next, A Preset table will appear, again click on Next

Now The Time Of Task Selection, Select All The Tasks As Shown Below :

Click On Next & Select The Service Pack 3 File For Integration, From The Location You Have Downloaded.

Click On Next We Have Integrated Windows XP Service Pack 3, So No Need Of Any New Hotfixes, Addons Or Update Packs. But If You Want The Addons, They Can Be Downloaded From www.nliteos.com/addons So Click On Next Now Its Time To Add Drivers [Remember .exe files of the drivers cannot the integrated directly, you need the .inf files or the .rar , .cab files to integrate]

Removing Components The Following Screen Will Appear

Don’t Keep It Blank & Select The Following Functions

Now We Are At Removing Components, This Helps You To Remove Unwanted Programs From The OS Like Briefcase, Drivers, Dial-Up Support….etc. Be Careful While Removing Components Or Else You Will Have A Very Unstable Operating System. Select The Following Settings

Drivers : If You Have Integrated Your Own Drivers, Then Then Check Only The Following Drivers : Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM); Display Adapters; Display Adapters (Old); IBM PS/2 TrackPoint; ISDN; MultiFunctional; Portable Audio; Printers; Scanners; SCSI/RAID; Sony Jog Dial; Sound Controllers; Tape Drives; Toshiba DVD Decoder Card; Wireless Ethernet, I Have Added My Own Drivers To The CD Like, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator, Sigmatel Sound Driver, Intel 10/100 Ethernet Drivers, So I Have Removed All The Other Drivers. Hardware Support : The Items In RED Are Very Critical, So Choose Wisely What To Remove. Play It Safe Select To Remove The Following Components : Battery : If You Are Using The Desktop PC Then Only Remove It, Or Else You’ll Have A Serious Trouble While Using Laptop. Bluetooth Support : If You Aren’t Using Any Bluetooth Dongle Devices, Then Select It To Remove It. Gravis Digital GamePort : This Will Remove The Support Of GamePort. Keyboard : If You Don’t Need Other Keyboard Layout, You Can Remove It.

Languages : If You View Certain Webistes That Need A Language Pack To Be Installed To View Them Correctly & You Understand The Language, Then Don’t Remove It. I Think Indian’s Should Remove All Other Languages, As Google Translator Can Be Used To Translate The Web Pages.

Multimedia : Remove The Following Components From Multimedia Music Samples : I Recommend To Remove This As The Music Is Crap And Rubbish And No One Hears It Speech Support : Speech Support Is Also Another Unwanted Application, So I Recommend To Remove It. Tablet PC : If You Aren’t Using A Tablet PC, Then Remove It.

Network : Removing Network Components Can Be A Little Confusing. Remove The Following Tools : Communication Tools : These Tools Are Never Used By Me Till Now, So I Think Remove It. MSN Explorer : This Tool Is Also Not Used By Me Till Now, So Its Removed By Me. And The Same With Windows Messenger One Who Is Never Related To Internet, And Any Network Components Like LAN, WLAN, WiFi…etc Can Remove All The Components. [I Recommend Not To Remove Peer-to-Peer, If You Remove It, You Will Not Be Able To Make Torrent Downloads]

Operating System Options : This Is Dangerous Area. Make Sure You Read Each Description Carefully Before Removing Components From This Section. Select The Following Components To Remove : Color Schemes : This Removes The Unwanted Colors And Schemes In Classic Theme. DR Watson : This Is A Part Of Windows Debugging Engine, Disabling This Will Help You To Getting Rid Of Dr. Watson Postmortem Debugger VIRUS. Security Centre : This Removes The Windows Notification, Like “Your PC Is At A Risk” And So. Service Pack Messages : I Recommend You To Remove This, Because We Have Firstly Removed All The Other Languages. Tour : This Is Again One Unwanted Program.

Services : When You Visit Task Manager You Can See Various Services Processing, There Are Many Unwanted Services Running, Disable Them To Increase The PC Performance. But I Recommended Avoid Removing Any Components. Directories : This Includes All Unwanted Folders In Your Windows Installation Disk, I Recommend To Remove It All.

After Completing Click On Next

Now It It’s the Time To Setup Unattended Settings It Allows You To Add Serial Number To Your Setup, Add Users, Themes, Desktop Settings…etc. You Will See The Following Screen

Unattended Mode : Fully Automated OEM PreInstall : If You Are Not Using A OEM CD (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Then , Disable The Feature.I Don’t Not Use OEM CD, So I Will Disable The Feature. Program Files Path : You Can Give Your Own Path For Program Files Or Use The Default. I Have Given The Following Path “\Varad\Program Files” Data Execution Prevention: Leave It To Default. Product Key : Type Your Product Key, So That You Do Not Have To Type It While Installation. Computer Type : If You Want To Make Your CD, A Universal Disc i.e. Which Will Work On All Computers Select Default Misc : If You Don’t Want To Hibernet, Turn It Off, If You Are Using Any 3rd Party, FireWall Like : Comodo Firewall, QuickHeal Firewall….etc, Turn Of The Firewall Too. While Starting Windows For First Time : An OOBE Screen Appears, To Prepare User Accounts And Register To Microsoft…etc, If You Don’t Want The OOBE, Disable It. System Restore Service : Leave It Enable

I Have Added The Following Things :

In The Tabs Leave RunOnce & Select Users. The Following Screen Will Come :

Go To The Tab User Accounts. User Accounts : If You Want To Add Your Account By Default, Click Add And Add Your Name. As I Added “Varad”. Leave Password Expiration, Options, Personal As It Is And Turn To Auto Logon In Auto Logon Select Your UserName, I Selected Varad, Leave Logon Count As It Is. Password : If You Want To Add A Password, You May, I Don’t Need A Password So I Left It Blank, If You Don’t Put A Password UnCheck “Must Have Password” There Is Mine :

Go To The Tab Owner And Network ID. Owner And Network ID : Computer Name : Give The Name That You Want To Give To Your PC. I Gave “TESTING PC”. Leave WorkGroup, Domain As It Is. Full Name : Type Your Full Name Here. Organization : Leave It Blank. I Am Using This CD For My Personal Use, So I Left The Fields Blank.

Now Go To Regional Tab Here Nothing Is Much To Modify, Only Select The Time Zone : (GMT +05:30) Chennai, Kolkatta, Mumbai, New Delhi. And Leave All Other Tabs And Click Next Now We Enter Into Options: Select General Tab: Here Nothing Much Major Change: In Misc: “Save a copy of your current configuration on the ISO” – Disable It “HDD free space requirement” – Disable It “Minimum Memory requirements” – Disable It “Black Background” – Yes (This Changes The Blue Setup Billboard To Background Less Black. “Classic” – Yes (This Increases The Speed Of Setup And Gives Windows 2000 Setup Look. Select Patches Tab : In Patches Tab : Change “Maximum unfinished simultaneous connections (TCP/IP patch)” To 100 Enable Unsigned Themes Support (Uxtheme Patch)

Click Next. We Are In Tweaks, This Is The Most Major Part, Play It Carefully.

Tweaks : In Tweaks Keep The Following Settings :

Select SHOW To “Internet Explorer Icon”, “My Computer Icon”, “My Documents Icon”, “My Network Places Icon”, “Recycle Bin Icon”.

And Click On Next

Time For Processing, “Do You Want To Start The Process?” Click “Yes” Now The Processing Starts

After Completion Click Next Now It’s the Final Step Create The Burning Image

Click On Make ISO. Save The ISO File.
