Super specialists from Mangalore visit the hospital on appointment basis in the dept of Paediatricsurgery, Nephrology, Cardiology, and Plastic surgery regularly Dept of Medicine:- The Dept of Medicine is headed by Dr.Vikram Irniraya, MBBS, DNB (Med), MNAMS and is well supported by full fledged state of art 5 bedded ICU which is manned by well trained staff and equipped with Ventilator, Bi-Pap, Multi parameter, Cardiac monitors, Pulse oxymeters, Central monitoring system, Defibrillator Central Oxygen System and special care fowler cots. We are also equipped with computerized TMT to diagnose cardiac conditions and most of the major Illness including cardiac ailments are managed successfully here. Dept of Obstetrics and Gynecology :-Dept of Obstetrics and Gynecology is headed by Dr Veena Manjunath MBBS MD (OBG), assisted by Dr.Nupur Singh, DGO and conducts around 200 deliveries per month including rare and complicated pregnancies like Triplets. We are proud to say that our hospital conducts the maximum no of deliveries in Kasaragod. We have a full-fledged Gynecology service which is supported by a well-equipped L.T and O.T. Our doctors are available any time round the clock. We provide full range of Obstetrics and Gynecological services including Antenatal check-up, Antenatal exercises classes, everyday around 4-5 normal deliveries are conducted and any complicated labor is managed by our competent and highly trained doctors with the assistance of state of art equipment, easy acessisibility to blood bank, and full preparedness of OT for further management. We run full-fledged post-natal clinic with special emphasis on Immunisation.We also conduct cancer detection clinic for postmenopausal women Dept of Paediatrics: -The dept of Pediatrics is supported by a full fledged NICU and it is well equipped with C-PAP, Warmers, Phototherapy Unit, Multiparameter and Central Oxygen system with round the clock dedicated Nursing staff. The dept is headed by Resident Neonatologist. We admit around 60 babies in a month including the out-born babies

The Dept of Urology: - is one of its kind in and around Kasaragod and is headed by a Urologist, Dr. K M.Manjunath Shetty MBBS, MS (Gen Surg) DNB (Uro) MNAMS. The dept is well equipped to provide Complete treatment for Renal stones under one roof which includes Extra Corporeal Shockwave Lithotripsy (ESWL), By employing ESWL Technique most types of kidney stones can be treated on OPD Basis, it is painless, does not require Anaesthesia and the patient can go home the same day. Other Procedures like PCNL, URS, Cystourtrogram, & Infertility work-up is routinely done in the dept of Urology. Casualty & Trauma Centre:- Casualty & Trauma Centre is headed by Dr.(Capt)Mohan K, MBBS, DOrtho, is available for consultation for 24hrs.Also we regularly perform procedures and operations in the fully equipped O.T. Also Casualty Medical Officer is posted permanently to handle any emergency cases. We admit all types of M.L.C Cases. We also have fully equipped Physiotherapy Unit. Dept of Dental:- Dept of Dental Surgery is headed by Dr.Fauz M.F, BDS and Orthodontist is available on call for all types of dental treatment. Plans are on the anvil to install hemodialysis unit shortly. Other Depts. like Ophthalmology, ENT, Gen Surgery, regularly perform procedures and operations in the fully equipped O.T The hospital is well supported by Radiology dept headed by a Radiologist and equipped with Ultrasound machine with Color Doppler and 300 ma X-ray. The Laboratory is providing round the clock service and is equipped with Semi Auto Analyzers, Sodium Potassium Analyzer and all the basic investigations Including Histopathology and Microbiology are performed routinely. The service of Pathologists is available full time for reporting. The hospital is backed up by a 24 hour Pharmacy catering to the hospitals outpatient and In-patient. The hospital Front-desk is staffed with courteous staff and is open 24 hours a day. Also our Hospital is empanelled with ICICI Lombard general insurance in association with FHPL for giving Health Insurance for Below Poverty Line (BPL) patients. Condition of Employment: All persons seeking employment in the Institution shall apply in writing along with school/ college certificate, proof of age and reference letter from previous employers if any. a) Ordinarily persons below the age of 18 years will not be considered for appointment. b) Pregnant ladies will not be appointed.


All appointments made are subject to the conditions that the particulars furnished at the time of recruitment are true, and if the said particulars are proved to be false, the concerned appointment order will immediately become void. All newly appointed persons shall be on probation for an initial period of six months during which period, the performance will be appraised through various methods deemed fir by the Management including monthly confidential reports from the Sectional or Departmental Heads. If satisfactory standard of performance and conduct is not achieved by the employee during the period of probation, either the period of probation shall be extended for a further period of 3 months or by a longer period at the discretion of the Management, or the services shall be terminated. However the period of probation will not extend beyond one year.


II. Leave Rules: 1. Leave of any kind cannot be claimed as a matter of right but may be availed of only after due sanction by the director. Personnel Officer or the period authorized in this behalf by the director. Leave of any kind shall be applied for in the prescribed form made available through the various Sectional/Departmental Heads. Every leave application should be forwarded through the respective Sectional/ Departmental Head with their due recommendation. Application for leave for 3 days or less shall be made at least 24 hours prior to the time from which the leave is required, except in cases of exceptional circumstances beyond the control of the employee. Application for such leave shall be disposed off as early as possible but not later than 12 hours of its submission.

Application for leave for any period beyond 3 days shall be at least 7 days prior to the day from which leave is required. Application for such leave shall be disposed off within 2 days for its submission. Exceptions may be made for unusual circumstances at the discretion of the Management. No leave shall be considered as granted unless Leave Pass duly signed by the Director or Personnel Officer or the person authorized in this behalf is issued to the employee. In case of unforeseen emergency, such as sudden illness or death of a near relative, leave may be availed of in anticipation of sanction, provided concurrent information is given to the Department / Sectional Heads, and/ or the Personnel Officer through written communication stating the reason thereon. It shall be the duty of the employee concerned to apply for leave at his earliest opportunity and substantiate his absences through valid reasons. If the reasons and circumstances stated are found to be frivolous or false, such an act shall be considered as misconduct and, in addition, the period of such absence may be treated as leave without pay. Repeated absence from duty without prior sanction may lead to break in continuity of services and/or termination.

Habitual uncleanness. Careless work. Laziness and inefficiency. Negligence of duty. Smoking in areas where it is prohibited. Non-observance of Departmental duty hours. Loitering in the Hospital premises. Committing nuisance in the Hospital premises Absence without leave from the appointed place of work. Quarrelling with others within the premises of the Institutions. Sleeping while on duty. Not wearing uniform while on duty and wearing uniforms provided by the Institutions while not on duty. Indulging in heated arguments with co-workers, visitors or patients in the Premises of the Institution. Demanding, taking or giving bribes, tips or gifts or any illegal gratification whatsoever, and/or supplying intoxicants to the patients.
