Job Purpose: To support the Oracle databases and ensure their performance, availability and security. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: a) Installing, testing new versions of Oracle Database Management Systems (DBMS) and upgrading Oracle Servers and application tools; b) Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for database system; c) Working with Systems Engineers to ensure that the appropriate hardware resources are allocated to the databases for availability and optimum performance; d) Monitoring database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime;

Job Purpose: To investigate and analyse business activities and recommend actions to make them more efficient by using IT services.
