Thank you for sharing your views on Obummercare with me. Your letter says “Congress and the president need to come together to develop a system that is sustainable and of a much higher quality.” I disagree. I have long known, and I hope you realize, you cannot make a deal with a Marxist and expect not to get more Marxism. In this instance any deal you make with Obummer and his merry band of Marxists will ultimately impose a “single payer system” on Americans much like the British and defunct soviet system that are more about euthanasia for the elderly than health care. Watching the congressional hearings on the run out of Obummercare confirms Kathleen Sebelius is an arrogant apparatchik like the rest of the Obummer administration She’s a Steny Hoyer in a skirt. Sadly, Republicans keep proving the difference between them and democrats is only a matter of degree. Marxist Democrats chide Republicans for not having an alternate health care plan and Republicans remain silent. A real Republicans would counter their plan’s name is “freedom” because federal involvement in health Care is unconstitutional as per Article 1, Section 8. 1: The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States; General Welfare Powers Common Defense Powers 2. Borrow money 10. Define and Punish Piracies and felonies 3.Regulate Commerce 11. Declare War 4.Establish rules of naturalization and laws of 12. Raise and support Armies bankruptcies 5. Coin Money 13. Provide and maintain Navy 6. Punish Counterfeiting 14.Make Rules for Naval and Land Forces 7. Establish Post Offices and Postal Roads 15. Call forth the Militia to execute law, suppress insurrections, and repel invasions 8. Promote science and useful are by 16. Organize, Arm and discipline the Militia protecting exclusive right. 9. Constitute Tribunals inferior to the supreme court Page 1 of 2

17. Control land for limited purposes 18. Make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing powers. The proof to this pudding is seen in the Federalist 45, where James Madison writes, “The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government, are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected. The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State.” He explains Federalist 45 in in Federalist 41 where he writes, “For what purpose could the enumeration of particular powers be inserted, if these and all others were meant to be included in the preceding general power? Nothing is more natural nor common than first to use a general phrase, and then to explain and qualify it by a recital of particulars.” The 9th and 10th Amendments clearly show the absence of any implied powers in the federal compact.” The 9th and 10th Amendments confirm his writings lending credence to your assertion that “we are doing Americans a great injustice in implementing a bad law simply for the sake of having a national health system.” The real injustice lays in the fact here are too few congressmen/women like you who know the difference and are willing to make a stand on principle. Thank you for upholding your oath and defending the Constitution. Yours in the Bill of Rights,
