Potential Locations Descriptio n Photograph of the location Google Map (Identify the precise location) Is it suitable (think about genre, narrati e, research you! e undertak en) " ho#$ %hy$ This is a suitable location because it is isolated and links well with my narrative. It is easy to access and looks good when the lighting fades and the shadows are on the roads.

A quiet road that heads towards the A1 but is a dead end. Its surrounded by fields and is lined with hedges and trees that can look quite frightening in the dark as they cast shadows on the road. This location will be great for my narrative as my antagonist has been travelling along roads for days and this is the round he will arrive at

the place the film is set in on.

Access Issues Easy to access as it is a concrete road about five minutes away from my house. It is a public road so I do not have to get permission to film there. There are no opening and closing times so I can film there any time I want.

The risk can be reduced again by giving the public prior warning to us filming there so any people unhappy about it can inform me. 0e can also again find out what time is best to film in order to avoid a large about of people being in the area.

)a*ard+ +ood !ygiene %hat could cause har,$ This location is an outdoor area so therefore having food there may be unhygienic as it is a common dog walk and with it being covered by trees there are often many insects around. %hat is the likelihood of this happening$ 1uite high' it would be very difficult to improve food hygiene in an outdoor area. )o# ,uch har,$ *ould potentially make someone quite poorly' so therefore could cause a significant amount of harm. &pply the follo#ing priorities, ho# #ill this risk be ,anaged (pro ide detail)$ (-) .li,inate/ (0) Reduce or substitute (1) Isolate/ Personal protecti e e5uip,ent (2) 3ontrol/ (4)

The best way to manage this risk is to eliminate it. Therefore in this particular location I would ban food. This would not be an issue as my house is very close to this location so

)a*ard+ Lighting %hat could cause har,$ There is no access to an electrical supply so therefore we would have to used outdoor torches that run on batteries. 0e would have to make sure that the weather was going to be okay as water and electrics can be quite dangerous. %hat is the likelihood of this happening$ ow' as long as we check the weather before we go out to film. )o# ,uch har,$ If the weather was to be bad then a significant amount of harm could be done as electricity with water can potentially be very dangerous. )a*ard+ Roads &pply the follo#ing priorities, ho# #ill this risk be ,anaged (pro ide detail)$ %hat could cause har,$ (0) .li,inate/ (0) Reduce or substitute (1) Isolate/ (2) 3ontrol/ (4) It isPersonal not a particularly busy road however vehicles do come down there so there is the ha2ard protecti e e5uip,ent of them not seeing us and someone or equipment being hit. 0e can reduce and control this ha2ard by checking the weather forecast daily up to the %hat the likelihood of this happening 3 if the forecast looks bad for that day. day of is filming and to change the day of filming ow )o# ,uch har,$ 4otentially quite a lot of harm. 0e can manage this risk by controlling it. 0e would do this by making sure there was always someone there to look out for cars and to warn any people in the cars about people and equipment that are ahead and also to warn anyone working on the film of the oncoming cars. )a*ard5 &ehicles %hat could cause har,$ &ehicles travelling down the road and the car we are using for the headlights as artificial lighting. %hat is the likelihood of this happening$ +airly low' as long as we keeps an eye out for any cars coming down the lane. )o# ,uch har,$ 6ot a long of harm will be caused by vehicles providing no one is hit. &pply the follo#ing priorities, ho# #ill this risk be ,anaged (pro ide detail)$ (-) .li,inate/ (0) Reduce or substitute (1) Isolate/ Personal protecti e e5uip,ent (2) 3ontrol/ (4)
