Thomas Greer Fund for Peace and Justice Studies Peace and Justice (P&J) Studies is an interdisciplinary undergraduate

specialization, located in the College of Social Science and College of Arts & Letters at Michigan State Uni ersity! "ts faculty #e#$ers and students co#e fro# disciplines and professional progra#s across the uni ersity! "n %&&', Al and (eth Cafagna esta$lished the )ho#as *reer +und for Peace and Justice Studies to honor the #e#ory of )ho#as *reer, a professor of hu#anities and a social acti ist! ,ach year, #onies generated $y the endo-#ent are #ade a aila$le to support student scholarships and pro.ects! )hese funds are to $e used for acti ities that ha e a clear connection to peace and .ustice studies, for e/a#ple, tra el to a conference, research, creation of a -or0 of art, or participation in an internship! Any undergraduate student enrolled in the Peace and Justice Studies Specialization at Michigan State Uni ersity is eligi$le to apply for a P&J grant! )he size of the grant -ill depend on the specific pro.ect, as -ell as on the a aila$ility of funds, $ut grants can $e up to three hundred and fifty dollars (123&!&&)! Applications for )ho#as *reer Peace and Justice Studies *rants re4uire5 (6) a $rief description of the pro.ect7conference7acti ity and its relationship to issues of peace and .ustice, (%) na#e of a faculty ad isor or pro.ect sponsor (if there is no faculty ad isor, pro ide a suita$le reference letter), (2) a pro.ect $udget, and (') sources of supple#ental funding (e!g!, 8epart#ent, School, College, or other units on or off ca#pus)!
