AN UNACCEPTABLE CONDITION |H 18,2 3he %ro#het, #raise and #eace be u#on him, forbade a city dweller from being a commission agent for an unaware stranger from out of town and artificial bids He also forbade a #erson from ma+ing an offer while the offer of his brother is #ending or that he should ma+e a #ro#osal of marriage while the #ro#osal of his brother is #ending He also forbade a woman to attem#t to let her sister 4in 5slam6 become divorced in order that she might ta+e her #lace 3he "essenger of Allah, #raise and #eace be u#on him, forbade meeting 4trade6 caravans in advance or that a city dweller should act as a commission agent for &edouin Arab He also forbade that a woman should ma+e it a condition of marriage that her sister 4in 5slam6 should be divorced or that a #erson should ma+e an artificial bid without intending to #urchase in order to raise the #rice He also forbade the accumulation of mil+ in the udder of an animal to attem#t misre#resentation !

PERMISSION REQUIRED FOR A WIFE TO FAST VOLUNTARILY |H ,8' 5t is not #ermissible for a woman to fast voluntarily when her husband is at home, unless he gives her #ermission -or should she #ermit anyone to enter his house without his #ermission !

Ivery one of you is a guardian and is held accountable for that which he is entrusted A ruler is a guardian and is held accountable for that which is in his care A man is a guardian in res#ect of his household, a woman is a guardian in res#ect of her husband1s house and children 3herefore each one of you is a guardian accountable for whatever is in your care !

HUSBAND AND WIFE SUCKLED BY THE SAME SUCKLING MOTHER |H )9( 0+bah married a daughter of Abu 5hab, son of Abdul Aziz $ater a woman came to him and said that she had suc+led both of them 0+bah told her, =5 had no +nowledge that you suc+led me, neither did you tell me ? 9o he rode to the %ro#het, #raise and #eace be u#on him, in "edina and #ut the matter before him 3he %ro#het, #raise and #eace be u#on him, said, =-ow that you +now this, how can you continue@? 9o 0+bah divorced her and she married someone else !

4alih notes followed by those of 4hay.h Ahmad 'arwish 'r 4ubhi said, (t is .nown that the *essenger, praise and peace be upon him, hated divorce and he said that 56he most hated lawful deed before Allah is divorce.5 3owever, in this case he wanted to guide the son of 7mar to be good to his father. 7n the other hand 7mar would not have ordered his son to divorce his wife had he not feared that she would lead him to harm in his life and in his religion. 4hay.h Ahmad 'arwish said: 7ne must not forget the spiritual ran. and imamship of 7mar and how satan did not wal. in same road that 7mar wal.ed, and that the 8rophet, praise and peace be upon him, ordered us to follow the guided 9aliphs and so forth. 6his 3adith is in no way to be ta.en out of context as has been the practice in some Asian families where the mother or other relatives, group together to cause a divorce for no valid (slamic reason.

FREEDOM FROM THE FIRE |H ,2F A #oor woman came to me with her two daughters 5 4$ady Ayesha6 gave her three dates 9he gave one to each daughter and was about to eat the third when her daughters as+ed for it 9o she bro+e it into two and gave half to each of her daughters 5 was touched by her action and mentioned what she had done to the %ro#het, #raise and #eace be u#on him, he said* =Allah has a##ointed %aradise for her because of this ? /r he said* =Allah has freed her from the Dire because of this ?!

BLESSINGS OF RAISING DAUGHTERS |H ,(8 8hosoever raises two girls from childhood to maturity will a##ear on the Eay of Cudgment joined to me li+e two fingers of a hand 3hen he joined his two fingers !

HOW TO BATHE A CHILD |H 2'F 8hen they were about to bathe little $ady ;ainab, may Allah be #leased with her, the %ro#het, #raise and #eace be u#on him, directed them to begin with her right side followed by the #arts that are washed in the ablution !

ORPHANS 'o not oppress the orphan, nor drive away the one who as.s. #2:#:"; $oran THE MERIT OF CARING FOR ORPHANS |H ,(' 8hosoever ta+es care of an or#han, he and 5 will be li+e this together in %aradise 3o demonstrate the closeness, he raised his fore and middle finger joined together !

ORPHANS AND PARADISE |H ,(7 8hosoever ta+es care of an or#han, related or otherwise, he and 5 will be li+e these two in %aradise 3o demonstrate, he raised his fore and middle fingers joined together !

Allah, the Exalted says: ... it is for the father to provide for them and clothe them with .indness... +:+22 $oran Let the rich spend according to his wealth and for he whose provision is little, let him spend from what Allah has given him. Allah does not charge a soul except with that 3e has given him. 4urely, Allah will bring ease after difficulty. <=:> $oran ..... -hatsoever you expend 3e will replace it..... 2!:2# $oran HIGHEST REWARD FOR CHARITY |H ,89 /f the dinar 4gold coin6 you s#end in the Gause of Allah: the dinar you s#end to #rocure the freedom of a slave: the dinar you give in charity to the #oor and the dinar you s#end on your wife and children, the highest in reward is for the one you s#end on your wife and children !

REWARD FOR SEEKING THE PLEASURE OF ALLAH |H ,9,

CHARITY TO ONE'S FAMILY |H ,9' 8hen a #erson s#ends on his wife and children ho#ing for a reward, it is a charitable act !
