Visual Corporate Identity
The Carte Blanche Logo
The central element of Carte Blanche’s corporate identity is the Carte Blanche logo. It is important for corporate consistency that the logo appear routinely and unvaryingly all Carte Blanche merchandise and productions. The logo should not be changed or modified beyond what is deemed permissible within this corporate identity style guide. The two figures on the left are the two logo variations that feature full colour. The logo should maintain a correct aspect ratio at all times. Any distortion or warping of the logo proportions is not permissible.

Logo Colour Variants
Carte Blanche logo variants are mainly colour based, and include solid colour variants. The ‘speed trail’ motif is from the previous page okay to recolour either in official Carte Blanche colours or black and white. The four figures on the left are the most common logo variants . To avoid confusion keep the amount of colour variant logos on any one product to a minimum. As always the logo should maintain a correct aspect ratio at all times.

Visual Corporate Identity
Corporate Colours
A large part of maintaining a corporate identity relies on visual consistency. To facilitate this the Carte Blanche brand has a group of pre-approved colours to represent the company with. The colours shown here are the preferred colours to be used in conjunction with the Carte Blanche brand. In regards to print the spot colours and CMYK colours are both acceptable, and the cheaper option should be used in these cases. It is recommended however that the selected spot colours should be used whenever possible, as they are more reliably the right colour. In circumstances when the spot colours are not viable, the CMYK substitutes can be used. For digital productions the following RGB hexadecimal colours should be used.

Visual Corporate Identity
Corporate Typography
The Carte Blanche visual corporate identity encompasses three typefaces. To ensure corporate visual consistency only these typefaces may be used. “Imperator” is the font featured in the Carte Blanche logo, and may be used for other similar headline and feature purposes. For everything else the font family of “Minion Pro” should be used. For digital purposes the web safe font family “Verdana” can be considered. The fonts shown here give an idea of what constitutes maintaining our corporate identity.

The following pages exist to demonstrate the look, rules and dimensions concerning Carte Blanche standard issue business stationary. Standard issue business stationary consists of Business card, A4 letterhead and with compliments slip. Corporate identity in stationary is maintained through adherence to the guild-lines outlined within this style guide and should not be deviated from. In situation where required stationary has no set guidelines, user discretion is allow with adherence to the overall corporate identity outlined with this style guide.

Basic Business Stationary
Letterhead
The standard Carte Blanche letterhead design should when possible feature fullcolour. In some cases a one colour print is acceptable (as long as it is reads easily and clearly) and this should be in official Carte Blanche pantone 2746 U. The letterhead design is for standard international A4 format, 297 mm x 210 mm.

Courier Uniform
Courier Uniform
The Carte Blanche uniform is designed to franchises visual corporate identity. The uniform is unisex and consists of official shirt and hat, paired with less strict pants, shorts and boots. Pants and shorts should be brown or grey, and boots should be brown and appropriate to the conditions the courier is likely to experience during delivery.

Courier Uniform

The Carte Blanche courier hat comes in the form of a baseball cap with trademark “hermes wings” featured on the sides. If the caps wings are damaged or removed it should be repaired before being worn again by the courier. Alternatively both wings should be removed if one is damaged and repair is not an option.

Packaging
Standard Packaging
Carte Blanche standard packaging are the most common issue packaging the franchise employs. The Carte Blanche logo is featured on the boxes in official pantone 2746 U. Standard Packaging sizes include a small (30cm x 30cm x 30cm), medium (80cm x 80cm x 80cm), large (1m x 1m x 1.8m), large flat (2m x 2m x 0.5m) and tube (diameter 15cm, length 3m and under). Special large format or unusual size packaging may need to be custom made and will cost much more.

Premium Packaging
Carte Blanche premium Packaging feature full colour imagery. Premium packaging is for small to medium shipments and denotes an ‘express’ package. Premium packaging comes in small (20cm x 15cm x 10cm), medium (60cm x 45cm x 30cm) and medium flat (80cm x 60cm x 10cm) packaging. Larger express items take the standard packaging with and ‘premium’ label to denote their express status.

Carte Blanche wrapping paper is to be used on smaller items that are within Carte Blanche premium packaging and don't quite fit the size of the box. The wrapping paper comes in two types, both featuring official Carte Blanche corporate colours.

Central to Carte Blanche’s corporate identity and franchise is the delivery van. While ob the job the van also serves to promote brand awareness and corporate identity.
