1) Carmen Marc Valvo Amount: $0
Carmen Marc Valvo is a quintessential American designer who, since 1989, has been exploring his soul‟s desire to bring glamorous dressing to every woman‟s life. Although his sumptuous creations have made him a favorite among Hollywood‟s top leading ladies it‟s his devotion to his non-celebrity clients that have made him a star. TIME Magazine stood up and took notice of Carmen after his Fall 2005 collection in a feature story saying “While other designers seek to shock, Valvo‟s creations shine in the marketplace.”

2) Carolina Herrera

Carolina Herrera is a Venezuelan-American fashion designer known for "exceptional personal style", and dressing First Ladies from Jacqueline Onassis to Michelle Obama. After many years on the International Best Dressed list, she embarked on a career in textile design in 1980. In 2008 she was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America and has been on the cover of Vogue seven times. The New York Times cited her designs as "elegant and worldly without ever being fussy".

3) Malan Breton

Malan Breton is a Taiwanese-born American based fashion designer and award nominated TV costume designer. "Malan Breton" also refers to his brands of men's and women's apparel, and accessories. Malan Breton has dressed celebrities from the worlds of television, music, film, and Broadway including: Minnie Driver, Ricki Lake, Martha Plimpton, and Nikki Blonsky. Malan Breton Collection was noted as InStyle Magazines look of the day, worn by American Actress Katrina Bowden.

4) Jen Kao

5) Nonoo

Misha Nonoo„s background can easily be described as multicultural: her first few years were spent in Bahrain before moving to London, and then a few years of studying in Paris before settling in New York. Her collections manage to take that elegant aesthetic and make it playful and modern, which is probably why she has fans in fashionable sophisticates like Pippa Middleton and Gwyneth Paltrow. Nonoo is a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund 2013 finalist.

6) TOME

Though the two originally took very different career paths, Ryan Lobo and Ramon Martin knew that if they were ever to start a label, it would be together. Based in New York, TOME sees the pair's collective experience expressed in a range that is practical and straightforward - clear cut, essential dressing. Purity is the cornerstone of this 'every woman' brand. Form follows function and every piece in the collection is infinitely wearable. TOME is a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund 2013 finalist.

7) Zac Posen

Zac Posen launched his namesake label at the tender age of 21. His work has gained respect for its increasingly streamlined aesthetic of forties-inflected tailoring, mermaid-esque gowns, and itty-bitty cocktail frocks. Zac Posen continues to receive numerous awards and accolades, most notably the Council of Fashion Designers of America's 2004 Swarovski's Perry Ellis Award for Womenswear.

8) Thakoon

When Michelle Obama needed something to wear in front of almost 80,000 people-and millions more watching on TV--she went to Thakoon Panichgul, the Thai-born designer who has made a reputation for himself by designing sophisticated, deceptively simple separates. The Thakoon collection has been described as "forwardlooking, respectful of the past, and not at all vintage. In 2006 Thakoon was one of 3 recipients of the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund and also has been nominated by the CFDA for the Swarovski Award for Best Emerging Womenswear Designer.
